Spent 4 nights at this hotel. Slept well each night, no noise from inside or outside the hotel. We were at the back of the hotel. Room basic but clean. Tea and coffee provided and a free safe. Bathroom was good, plenty of hot water and complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was of a good quality with the usual selection of continental and hot options. All staff friendly. Also there is a luggage room, should you need to store any items after checkout

The hotel is nice and very good. It is especially suitable for traveling with children. It is also a good choice for business trips because the floors are very high and the scenery is particularly good. It is also very close to the attractions, basically you can reach it on foot. Four things to know about this hotel before you book. 1. If you book early you will pay more. 311 euros a night booked three months ahead. 200 euros a night booked three weeks ahead. Look at any booking website. 2. On check-in they take the full amount of your stay from your credit card, plus a 50 euros a day deposit ”in case you use the mini-bar”. (In fact the mini-bar is empty - see photo). This might be a problem if you have credit limit issues. 3. They use sweaty, clammy poly-cotton bed-linen - see photo of label. You cannot change hotels because they have already trousered your money. To sleep properly we had to buy our own fully cotton bed-linen - see photo of receipt. The reason they use poly-cotton is explained on the manufacturer's website: ​”Bed linen must be lightweight...thus allowing staff to work faster....Experience shows that savings of 5 to 10% can be achieved”. Nothing about the comfort of guests. The staff say that all Westin hotels use poly-cotton. Totally unacceptable in a serious hotel and we shall not stay in a Westin hotel again. 4. Because of the hotel's layout, most bedrooms are 50 to 120 meters from the elevators. In the course of a day you can easily walk a kilometre or more to and from your room. In other respects it is well positioned, if you wish to be in Mitte, the breakfast is good, and the staff are professional and helpful to the extent that the chain allows. Garden rooms are a very little bit smaller than rooms on the street, but much quieter and a few have a balcony.

The location is very good, the room is not very big, but it is very exquisite and clean, the room type I live in is close to the back garden, so the soundproofing is very good and quiet, not noisy. The common problem of European hotels is that there is no kettle in the room, no free mineral water is provided, breakfast is also relatively monotonous, 20 euros per person. The decoration design style of the hotel belongs to the small and beautiful style of children. If it weren't for the 1300 RMB one night price during the exhibition, the price would be worth 80-100 Euro.

I chose this hotel for its location, its a 5 minute walk from the main station Hauptbanhof, where all the buses drop off. From Teigel airport I took the TXL bus to the station at a cost of 2.90 euros and door to door was 30 mins in total. Like nearly every hotel I have stayed in there were areas that could do with a lick of paint but on the whole it was a very clean, smart and quiet hotel. Most of the staff at the hotel spoke excellent English and we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We elected to have breakfast every day, and the buffet is no longer permitted for obvious reasons. Breakfast comes in 2 courses, initially guests are given a platter of breads, croissants , cheeses, hams along with tea/coffee and juices. This is whilst your remaining breakfast is being prepared, namely eggs, sausages, bacon, or yogurts, fruit and cereals. I was very impressed with breakfast here. The bedroom we had was small but i was aware of this before I booked, but the bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet. There is no safe or fridge, but it does have a TV, but the only English channels i could find were news channels. However I did not come on holiday to watch TV so I was not concerned. The bathroom is small also but the shower is hot and powerful and soap/shampoo and shower gel is provided. The toilet is in the same room so if they both are used at the same time, you have to be very good ”friends ” with your partner if you get my drift. Free wifi is available and the signal was strong and powerful. My only minor criticism and its not the fault of the hotel, is that there are a limited amount of restaurants within walking distance to enjoy an evening out. The station has a lot of fast food outlets but proper restaurants were very scarce.

Originally set the main fire, the result was closed because of the epidemic, and changed to this one. The surrounding area is quite quiet, the front desk uncle is also very good in English, and the room is clean. But not very comfortable is the waiter started cleaning in the early morning, the vacuum cleaner is particularly loud, and even opened directly before 9 o'clock... check-out time at 11 noon, check-in time at 2 pm, is it necessary to clean so urgently?
