We booked for a one night stay (dinner, bed and breakfast). Lovely thatched pub, which has been very sympathetically modernised, in a small village about 10 minutes from Henley. Absolutely delighted with the room (I think there are only three) with fantastic wet room plus a roll top bath. Large fluffy towels, good toiletries and a nespresso coffee machine. The super king size bed was very comfortable with good quality linen. Before dinner we had drinks in the bar, with the woodburner lit and a storm blowing outside, it felt warm and cosy. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Good menu choices and the food was well prepared and presented. Service was good and the a**osphere was friendly, with a mix of families, couples and larger groups. Breakfast the following morning was also excellent, with a choice of full English and various other options, such as croissant, granola, etc. We didn't get an opportunity to explore the area around the inn due to the poor weather, but there are walks right on the doorstep. We would not hesitate to return.
