Our honest review... We had a group of 8 people, 3 females and 5 males. I will list the pros and cons below. For the price the hotel was great but I would advise to perhaps keep budget in mind. We had a great holiday overall and for others like us with low budget and large group for Turkey I would recommend. We went 13th till 21st of May. The entertainment started in last few days as we were leaving as the season was beginning and you could tell the hotel was getting busier. The hotel was great walking distance to the centre market which was great fun to look round. Me and my girlfriend walked round the shops multiple times and loved buying things, be very prepared to get haggled though, none were rude to us you just have to say no thank you a lot. Make sure to bargain with price as you will get it cheaper and just remember there are loads of stores selling the same thing so don't be worried to walk away (sometimes walking away will make them drop the price more). From what we saw along the hotel front, Diamond of Bodrum looked the best. NOW THE BIGGEST PROBLEM... the safe doesn't work and didn't in all four rooms and unfortunely the cleaners are not to be trusted!!! They stole £30 from our case which we did not want to think but then they also stole perfume and travel kits from my friends. I didn't want to believe it but was 100% the cleaners, and they don't speak English so couldn't speak to them about it. Other than this lots of positives about the hotel below, so don't let this put you off completely, JUST HIDE YOUR STUFF! Hotel The hotel overall was nice and pretty clean. We all had double rooms however each room looked different some bigger than other. Myself had two single beds pushed together as my friends had double bed or same as us. The aircon isn't very good but kind of does the job. So be prepared to be little hot at night. Pool was big and fun for us to play in. The hot tub isn't a thing as does not work. The indoor pool is nice but also very cold which was fine. The sauna and steam room are nice and we used few times. The all-inclusive was amazing as we wanted to eat and drink loads. The drinks selection isn't huge but was enough for us and cocktails were made super strong which we loved. The rooftop seats are great with an amazing view. Staff The staff can vary from some being nice and others horrible. Highly recommend the rooftop bar staff and most of all Ahmet! he is the nicest and by far the best drinks maker. The two male staff on the pool staff are HORRIBLE! They pest you for a tip EVERYTIME even though all-inclusive and made us avoid them when possible. The reps are GREAT and got us involved in games as well as popping up for conversations with us around the hotel. There is one man who tries to sell exchanges and trips which was overpriced so don't use him. Food and Drink The food was good and had a wide variety and all you can eat was amazing. After reading the comments we were very concerned. However we had a brilliant time! Room was spacious, clean, room service every day with fresh towels etc! On the odd occasion we had to request more toilet roll but this was always provided! Air con worked well and we were greatful of a cool room as weather was amazing! Staff we never had any problems, and big shout out to Eles in the downstairs lobby he was fantastic and let him create a drink for u as they are always delish, also polak from the pool bar he was great! With the staff they treat people how they are treated if u try to be familiar and say thank you in Turkish they appreciate this and treat them with the respect they deserve and u will have no problems! Pool was always clean! And plenty of sun beds around. At night we never saw anyone drinking/smoking around the pool! Food was always plentiful and tasty and something for everyone, I’m a picky eater and managed a good meal every-time. I saw one fly the whole time I was there, and I’m not sure how the hotel could be blamed for this! However make sure somebody sits at ur time outside in the eating area as there are birds around! There are a few evenings where there is entertainment in the eating area and this is nice! We were aware there was no entertainment so was no bothered by this. However they do play music around the slide pool! There are cats around but they are very friendly and appreciate a snack if u can give one! Med the rep was fabulous and we had a great boat trip and he gave us lots of other information about the area and was always on hand if we had questions! Overall I will be returning and again your holiday is what you make it! No this is a 5* resort but I am yet to go abroad and get a 5* like in England! So go and have a fabulous time!! If you want a good cocktail go behind the hotel to bodrum legends they are brilliant and they play sports and have pool and darts for free!

We had our family holiday there in may half term. It’s a big hotel but needs updating. Food and drink are very average. The wine is disgusting and the food most nights was cold. We had water coming through our bathroom ceiling and it took them 2 days to move us. And when the did the hair dryer in the second room was dangerous and they had to come and replace it. The pool area are very nice but if you want a bed you need to get there before breakfast. All the staff are very friendly and the waiting staff couldn’t do enough for you they where great. Don’t get me wrong, we had a great holiday but if you’re expecting a 5 star resort don’t get your hopes up.

Nice hotel and staff. Wonderful breakfast in the restaurant with breathtaking view. Pool outside was very cold in the beginning of November. Room was clean and nice. We love this wonderful castle very much. One thing that made us sad- We leave hotel 6 am and ask for lunch box with breakfast. The staff on the front desk said that in the morning everything will be ready, however nobody prepare it for us( and just collect in a hurry couple hard croissants(((

A great hotel well positioned far enough from Bodrum to be able to enjoy a bit of peace and quite, but near enough to be on the marine promenade by foot in 10 minutes, alternatively by water taxi right into town. Very helpful staff, day and night, they made us feel spoilt and special, although there are sometimes language barriers, but with a mobile translating app this shouldnt be a problem. However, the internet connection seems to be a problem, with the signal often going away, also the logging into the hotel wifi is terrible, having to log in with room number and birth date when you do get thrown out of the net. I hope that they get a better solution for that, the sooner the better. We were there at the end of the season, so there weren't many guests there any more. I love the fitness centre and went there every day, as well as for a swim in the sea, which has perfectly clear water without any waste or algae at all. Next time we visit Bodrum, we definately will stay there again.

We had a very bad experience staying with these thieves, we booked this hotel via *********** (month 5/2022), at this stage we asked to debit our card but the hotel confirmed that we could pay at our arrival, The day of our arrival, they tried to charge our card, so we asked via message that we will pay by cash once at the hotel since we were already at Bodrum airport. As planned we checked in by paying by cash, and we settled in the room was very poor nothing comparing with the photos posted on booking, but we decided to stay there given the good location (Bodrum center ) everything was fine we spend a very nice evening at the bodrum center, and we was very happy. The next morning we were surprised by the cancellation of our reservation by the host on ***********, because of the credit card when we had paid the entire stay on our arrival, this will mean that we are no more protected by the platform, since we have already gone to the beach, we sent a message to find out the reasons for this cancellation, but we did not receive any answer, after our return to the hotel after a day in the beach, we asked for explanations, the manager told us what was the point of keeping the reservation on *********** when you were already accommodated? We were really worried and frustrated because of this behavior unworthy of the host, so we went back to the room and we directly checked our belongings and the big surprise, they stole 400 euros of the amount of money we had, and actually our stay in this hostel became very dangerous, we went down to see the manager directly, who ignored us telling us that the hotel is running by the whole family (hotel staff) and if you want to go to the police you can do it , We contacted the police directly who came after about fifteen minutes. At first we encountered communication difficulties since he spoke only one language, Turkish, but the police were very kind and they tried to help us by communicating via google translate, the manager of the hotel was very furious and wanted to kick us out at 11 p.m. in a city full of people and where the availability of hotels was really rare, without reimbursing us for the two remaining nights, but thanks to the police we were able to be reimbursed and they found us a hotel not far away, we thank them from the bottom of our hearts, The police explained to us that they could not do anything as there was no violation. We complained to *********** about this incident and our surprise was that the manager confirmed to *********** that we never came to the hotel, but thank god we had messages exchanged as well as the photos taken in the establishment we had our evidence. We are writing this review today for you tourists or travelers who want to stay at this hotel to tell you that this hotel is not secure at all, they are thieves, scammers, me and my wife we have experienced a very very bad experience, Angora Hotel ruined our stay that we had planned for 4 months with care a

The staff really work hard to keep the place up to the standards. Special thanks for Baris who responded to all my queries and also to Sugar and George for taking care of all their clients. They were helpful with everything I needed. All the staff deserve a big thank you and a special applause. without the staff, the place could not be the same! The room is really clean and you cannot get a better location! It is near to all the main landmarks in Bodrum. The food is fresh and tasty. The beach area is comfortable, clean and well-maintained. The water is clean for nice refreshing swims. The drinks they serve are fresh and tasty. Thank you again for the beautiful holiday, and definitely I would love to be back soon.. very soon. Perhaps the rates could be a little more competitive. I would like to mention that the place does not have an elevator. it might be be a bit of a problem for some, though the stairs are comfortable and not steep at all. The staff were helpful with the luggage during the check in and the check out. Thank you again, you made my trip to Bodrum interesting, relaxing and I left with nice and warm feelings hoping to be back soon.

I don't understand how you have an average of 8 on booking and 4.5 here on Trip Advisor. At the time of booking, the booking facility offers only a selection of triple rooms, but at the arrival we have been allocated a double room. We were told that the third bed is added only if the booking is made for three people, but in fact the three beds are included in the room description and not listed as optional. The room is described as 30m2, but our room was much smaller. The photos show clean and bright rooms, while our room was very dark (the room has no windows, there is only one in the antique room at the entrance). Although they are all not smokers, when we arrived our room smelled of smoking, The room was very lounge with clear signs of sweating. Clean under the standards, both in the rooms and in the common areas. Breakfast/dials were all with alone or sleeves. The pool is very small (2m2) and it does not seem to have any recycling system. Wi-Fi was not working: we were told it was a temporary problem, but there remained some doubts, The hotel was the only modern thing in the room, located in the old room and not softing directly on the bed. The room was quiet and the mattress was quite comfortable. The room was freezer. The location is excellent, a few steps from the sea. The staff is kind, though not everyone understands English well.

We spent a week at the Manzara Hotel , and loved every minute of it.The setting of the rooms in little houses,the luxuriant gardens and trees,the rooms are very well designed,the bed very comfortable, the bathroom spacious and well stocked. We liked the restaurant overlooking one of the pools and the bay ,a lovely spot for a romantic dinner. There is a taxi station right outside the hotel which is very convenient for a quick trip 'downtown' or to the beaches. But what makes the hotel so special, are the people who work there:Zeynep & Yacup at reception, Deniz the head waiter, his team, and Enis the bartender are just delightful individuals who made our stay very pleasant and remarkable. The inclusive breakfast was a feast every morning and the food at the restaurant delicious. i cannot recommend the Manzara enough, for those who want a peaceful,elegant,affordable and unforgettable stay in Bodrum ! WE shall return.
