Belado Residence Bol

This is the second year in a row we've stayed at the Belado. See last year's review for more detail. It is an exquisitely beautiful and clean small boutique hotel perched up high with expansive sea views. Our duplex apar**ent is incredibly spacious, with every single thing that you might need supplied (from fully equipped kitchen to paper products to beach towels to fluffy bathrobes, etc.) Daniel and Benjamin (father and son) own and manage this hotel with the ultimate of gracious hospitality. They deliver baskets of fresh towels every morning; will pick you up and drive you back down to the ferry; offer whatever suggestions and help you may ask for; and are always available to answer questions. The apar**ent is spotless. We look forward to coming back.

The Hotel Belado is a “we will definitely return” excellent hotel on a hill overlooking the harbor with amazing sea views and breezes. It is a four-story villa with most rooms sea facing with a balcony or terrace. The location is very quiet and safe, and an easy 5 – 10 minute walk to town / harbor / beaches. Keep in mind that that is all downhill and returning to the hotel is thus all uphill via built-in steps or narrow streets on cantilevered hills like in Amalfi and Positano. Ben, the son of the owner Daniel, is the go – to person for taking care of guests and is very helpful, professional, and immediately available if you have any questions. There is a parking garage on the street level. Most importantly and uniquely, this hotel (unlike most these days) comes equipped with all kinds of things that makes a stay easier and better. In the top two-floor duplex, the living room, dining room, balcony, full kitchen, two bedrooms, and 1 ½ bathrooms were spacious and not as cluttered with unnecessary knick knacks as in so many hotels, so you have room for your things. The suite was incredibly clean, and very essentially, the air conditioning worked extremely well which was even more important in the heat wave of June. Even the “little” things were thought of – towel hooks accessible from the shower, lots of paper products, enough and very nice towels, and even a bottle of rose to enjoy on the deck with the private jacuzzi hot tub (in which the water is actually hot, unlike lukewarm the way Germans like it). The bathrooms have plenty of counter space, the bedrooms have big closets and lots of storage space, and the shower has real glass doors and very good water pressure. The only downside was that the nightstands were too small to put anything on, and there are not many electrical outlets.

We’re just coming to the end of our stay at this very lovely apar**ent in Bol. Immaculately clean, spacious, big terrace with fabulous views, quiet, comfortable beds, ideally located for town and beaches. Ben was a very helpful host.

We stayed in Belado for two weeks and loved every minute of it. The apar**ent is fantastic and really comfortable with beautiful views. Ben was a wonderful host, brought us to and from the port, organised laundry for us and gave us a gift of wine. Bol is fabulous and we walked to the various beaches every day and then to the town for dinner in the evening. I thoroughly recommend and hope to be back.

We just left Belado Residences and we have had an amazing time. It was a really last minute booking as the villa we had booked was double booked and they cancelled our booking. At the airport with nowhere to go we quickly booked Belado Residences and we were not disappointed. Ben was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble for him. The apar**ent was very clean with good quality amenities and the hot tub was just amazing after a day exploring the beautiful island of Bol. We would love to come back again. Thank you Ben for making our trip so special.
