Tru by Hilton Monterrey Fundidora

Exceeded expectations, very much exceeded expectations!!! It was my first time staying at tru, and I didn't have any expectations. I saw a touch of blue before the taxi arrived, and my mood immediately improved. I feel that Hilton's positioning of tru is a youth hostel. Although the price is more expensive than a bed youth hostel, the service and experience are proportional. The room of tru is relatively simple, with just a bed, a bedside table, a small desk and a wooden chair (see picture), but I think it is just right, fully functional and not redundant. Anyway, every time I stay in other high-end hotels, I feel it is a waste. The 2-3 meter long table will actually use less than one meter. The public area is definitely a highlight. There are all kinds of board games and arcades, and two large and small TVs are convenient for everyone to watch different sports games at the same time. There are seven or eight kinds of chairs and sofas from color to texture to height to meet the needs of various travelers. The hotel lobby has a 24-hour snack bar, and there are 24-hour free boiled water, tea, coffee and decaffeinated coffee, which makes everyone reluctant to leave the lobby. Of course, I have to talk about the disadvantages. The room network is not very stable. When I checked in, there was no network on the 7th floor. Later, I moved to the 5th floor and there was network. This is a small tip for everyone. In addition, the location is a five-minute walk from Fundidora Park, but you have to cross a road, and the traffic there is a little chaotic.

The hotel does not provide free mineral water and slippers. A 1L bottle of mineral water is 45 pesos at the front desk, which is very expensive. The breakfast is very simple and there is no meat.

All very well. The location is very good since you are in front of the Fundadora park and the Mexico arena. The staff very friendly and attentive.
