"The hotel is like a park, situated by a river. The river is very calm, and there are beautiful woods on the other side. The rooms offer views of the river and the castle on the hill, but the only downside is that the rooms are a bit small. The restaurant is on the first floor, with a very French-style decor, and the food is quite good. Breakfast is plentiful, and the seating is comfortable and quiet."

Pascal and Mrs Pascal are the most wonderful hosts of a place at the centre of some of the best roads a motorcyclist could ever dream of! Add to this the air conditioning, the truly excellent food, great hospitality and “can do” attitude of Pascal.. and you have it all. Stay here - don’t hesitate. Book now."

"Hotel is nice. We had a nice room with a balcony. The rooms are clean. Breakfast was fine. Two issues we did not like the Fitness, Sauna are in the Hotel Cocoon Rive which is 5min walk from the Hotel Cocoon Belair which is not written when you look on the Cocoon Belair site. We arrived at the Hotel at 3h00 in the morning and they have a door on the back which is always open and when you enter you are straight next to the lift and you see not the reception. I think people who stay in the Hotel should enter with the key from their room. "

"We were passing through Vianden during a small heat wave. Temperatures were in the 90°s Fahrenheit. So, I booked a room here because it was advertised as having air conditioning. When we got to the front desk, I was told only “superior” rooms have air conditioning and ours did not have that. They said there was a fan only. All the “superior” rooms were taken so we had to sweat through the night. I know many places in Europe don’t have air conditioning, but this place advertises that it does. It just doesn’t have it for everyone which is conveniently left out of the amenities list. I booked using *******. They called the hotel manager on my behalf after I tried and management refused any form of compromise. This place is probably fine any other time except when it’s hot."

"Lovely family run hotel with quirky ornaments that showed the history of the place. Great location base from which to explore Luxembourg. We did the nature trail at Mullerthal which was about 30 minute drive. City is about 40 minutes and can go by train. Airport also 30 minutes by car - excellent Michelin star vegetarian restaurant there called Fields. I found the rooms clean and good size. Great value - definitely recommend if staying in Luxembourg"
