This stay truly exceeded my expectations—a well-deserved 5 stars! I booked a Garden View King Room on the second floor. Opening the window revealed lush greenery; the swaying palm trees were so incredibly soothing. The room was cozy and well-appointed, complete with a small sofa and coffee table. Lounging there in the evening with a cup of tea, taking in the view, gave the ultimate vacation vibe. But the absolute highlight was our butler, Coral! She reached out proactively before check-in to ask about our preferences and share local travel tips. Once we arrived, she went above and beyond for every request. I casually mentioned craving some fruit, and shortly after, a fresh fruit platter was delivered right to our room—such a thoughtful touch. Throughout the stay, it felt less like staying at a hotel and more like visiting a friend. Coral’s service was attentive without ever being intrusive. The garden view room was quiet and comfortable, the amenities were practical, and the scenery was a huge bonus. With such a dependable butler, I’ll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Sanya. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. You can't go wrong with Mangrove Tree and Coral!

The Sanya Bay Mangrove Resort offers convenient transportation, being located in the city center, and provides an excellent stay. It's incredibly good value for money! Our butler, Jessica, provided attentive and prompt service. The front desk efficiently handled check-in and proactively introduced the resort's facilities. The hotel boasts an outdoor water park, an indoor soft play area, and an adventure kingdom, offering a wide array of entertainment options. The rooms are spacious and bright, and cleanliness is top-notch. The entire resort is very large, surrounded by tropical greenery, and offers diverse dining choices. It's suitable for seniors taking walks and children playing in the water. This one-stop resort saves the hassle of traveling back and forth, offering great overall value for money. Highly recommended.

The room was spacious and the facilities were good. They upgraded me directly at the lobby during check-in, and even extended my check-out time due to my flight schedule, without any fuss. Thumbs up to them!

The water park was just okay.

The complimentary kids' playground tickets were great for the children, but be aware that the trampoline inside requires an extra fee. Remember to wear socks when you go in.

This resort world is huge. Due to its age and average maintenance, and considering the price, it still has a significant gap compared to other five-star resorts. However, it offers good value for money, especially since it's close to the airport and surrounded by many dining options.

The hotel's service was alright, but since it's supposedly an old hotel or apartment building that was repurposed, even with the new parent-child themed design, there are still many shortcomings. For example, in the pictures, you can see many patches on the ceiling, likely from previous water leaks. When we entered the bathroom, there was a clump of hair next to the child's stool on the floor – the hygiene was really inadequate. Also, when showering, the shower area floor wasn't lower than the rest of the bathroom, so water flowed out everywhere. The hairdryer was also incredibly weak; it took ages to dry long hair. The room only had two adult slippers, which is illogical for a hotel promoting itself as parent-child friendly, as there were no children's slippers. I hope they can improve this. Furthermore, late at night, there was loud, rhythmic music downstairs that disturbed my child's sleep, which was also not good. We also didn't get to use the complimentary benefits. The complimentary travel photoshoot was scheduled for the third or fourth day, requiring two days' advance booking. Since we only stayed two nights, there was no way we could have done it. So, overall, I probably won't be staying here again.

Since 2020, every year around late July and early August, my annual rendezvous with the mountains and sea unfailingly comes to pass. The Mangrove Tree Resort in Haitang Bay has long been my unwavering vacation retreat, perfectly aligning with all my aspirations for a coastal getaway. Year after year, I return with a longing heart.

I’ve always been captivated by the 180° Deluxe Seaview Room, with its expansive balcony directly facing the vast South China Sea. Leaning on the railing, I take in the boundless blue sea and sky, watching the clouds drift and the tides ebb and flow. In past stays, I did leave some minor suggestions for improvement. Returning this time, I was delighted to see the hotel has diligently iterated and enhanced its services, with numerous details improved, showcasing a sincere commitment to guest satisfaction. The only minor imperfections this stay were the weak air conditioning in the room and a malfunctioning electric screen. I hope the housekeeping and engineering departments can strengthen their coordinated inspections and daily equipment maintenance to further refine the living experience.

This year’s entire trip was exceptionally memorable, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to our butler, 'Juzi Juzi Juzi'. Her service was meticulous and attentive, with highly efficient and timely responses. Every request was addressed. Without me even having to ask, she proactively inquired about my itinerary and daily needs, promptly arranging room cleaning, replenishing beverages, and even thoughtfully providing fruit plates and desserts. When my relatives and friends later checked into the same type of seaview room, they were also handled by the butler throughout their stay. She arranged high-floor rooms with large balconies offering sea views and even provided upgrades. Each room was thoughtfully prepared with fruit plates and desserts – comprehensive and impeccable service. This has been the most outstanding butler service I've experienced in my many years of staying at the Mangrove Tree Resort. I sincerely hope the hotel can cultivate more such excellent service staff.

I also want to thank the Trip.com butler who helped me communicate and implement my special check-in requests in advance. Upon arrival, I didn't have to wait in line, and the coveted sea-view room had already been perfectly reserved for me. I used the VIP channel for check-in, and the entire process was calm and smooth. My initial room was upgraded to the 15th floor, and later, due to the air conditioning issue, the butler thoughtfully coordinated a move to the executive floor on the 23rd floor. The service provided by 'Juzi Juzi Juzi' this year was truly flawless.

As night falls, fireworks bloom in the sky, with buildings and the heavens reflecting each other, creating a spectacular and dazzling scene. Haitang Bay boasts a cluster of high-end hotels, but in my heart, the Mangrove Tree Resort will always hold an irreplaceable position. Strolling through the hotel gardens, gazing at the vast ocean, enjoying delicious food with the sea breeze; at night, sitting alone by the sea, listening to the rhythmic waves, I fully indulge in the relaxation and tranquility of a vacation.

I have witnessed the hotel’s growth and transformation over the years and wish to continue accompanying the Mangrove Tree Resort on its journey forward. I look forward to the hotel's continued refinement and the unlocking of more novel and exciting experiences. I anticipate returning next summer for another rendezvous with the mountains and sea. I wish the Mangrove Tree Resort Sanya Haitang Bay a prosperous future!

This hotel really shines with its stylish design and excellent family-friendly facilities. The high-ceiling lobby has an artistic vibe, and the guest rooms are decorated in warm, inviting colors. They really paid attention to the details, like providing kids' amenities. My child absolutely loved the outdoor pool and artificial beach. Our butler, Lisa, was super responsive and proactively offered a kids' bathrobe and bed rail. Plus, there's free parking with direct elevator access, which is very convenient. There are also plenty of shops and businesses nearby, making it a great place to just relax and explore the hotel area. It offers great value for money. It does get quite busy with kids during peak season, but overall, the positives far outweigh the negatives. I'd definitely recommend it to friends traveling with children.

The reviews saying the hotel needs renovation are true. It didn't really matter to me, but it did to my colleague on the business trip. He kept noticing flaws in the hotel all the time. The worst impression comes from the lobby where the reception is. It's white, and on white you see everything: dirty door handles, scuffed walls, worn-out benches, and so on.

When I was reading reviews, I was surprised there were no photos of the restaurant where breakfast is served. Once I got into that space, I immediately understood why. It's not meant to be a dining area — the design is extremely uncomfortable. But the food was great.

About the room: the bed is superb, the pillow too. The balcony is awesome. The motion-sensor lamp in the hallway — meh. The light in the bathroom is completely unsuitable for doing makeup. The pull-out mirror also has bad lighting. The walls in the room are dirty in some places, and the wall decor needs updating.

Housekeeping was great, except one day it felt like they brought in dust instead: white socks turned black within 10 minutes.

Overall, it's the quality you'd expect based on the reviews. We only booked this hotel because it was close to the convention center where the conference was held.

Another disappointment: there were no tea bags or coffee packets in the room. In every other hotel in China in this price range, tea and coffee were provided.

I stayed at the Sanya Bay Mangrove Tree Bodhi Hotel for several days, and I kept extending my stay because the experience was truly excellent. The bedding in the room was incredibly comfortable, and the room itself was spotlessly clean, with no dust in any corner. The resort grounds are beautiful, with lovely scenery and fresh air; the lush greenery makes it perfect for relaxation. The entertainment options are also fantastic, with many family-friendly activities that kids will love. The water park and Adventure Kingdom have fun facilities, making it suitable for both family trips and couples. Finally, the service exceeded all expectations. Our butler, Lisa, had a wonderful attitude and was very responsive, providing a perfect experience. Mangrove Tree is truly a resort hotel with strong all-around capabilities. I highly recommend it to friends and family, and I'll definitely come back if I get the chance!

I stayed for three nights, and there were a few minor hiccups. Initially, the bathroom sink was leaking. I called customer service, and someone came to fix it quickly. The technician was very efficient, replacing a pipe, and it was all resolved in about 15 minutes. Later, I noticed some trash hadn't been cleaned in the bathroom and the towels had stains, but these issues were also addressed very promptly. Their attitude and efficiency in handling problems really make it a worthwhile stay. The rooms at Hongshulin (Red Mangrove) are also very spacious, and it's convenient to get to the beach. Both breakfast and the buffet dinner were good. Aside from being a bit far from the city center, everything else was fine. Overall, the value for money is decent.
