This is my second time staying at this hotel. I booked an executive twin room with my child. The room was clean, and its location right in the heart of Jing'an Temple makes dining and taking the subway incredibly convenient. I first booked it because of its proximity to Eileen Chang's former residence, Changde Apartment, and I booked it again because of its excellent location and service. My child particularly loves the hot spring pool here. We also ate several meals at CP Jing'an this time, which was very convenient.

However, you need to watch the time when taking a taxi. I noticed during this trip to Shanghai that Jing'an Temple is really congested. Getting to the hotel was a constant jam, and the ride to the airport was also quite slow. The hotel breakfast is excellent! There's a wide variety, and I always eat too much. Check-out time is also very flexible; my flight was at 4 PM, and the front desk staff kindly extended our check-out to 1:30 PM, which was fantastic service. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Shanghai.

Excellent location: near Yili Road Station on Line 10, a 15-minute taxi ride to Hongqiao Airport/Hongqiao Railway Station, and close to Takashimaya and The Place. The lobby has a charming retro French style, with a spiral staircase and crystal chandeliers that make for great photos. The rooms are newly renovated, some with Washlets and floor-to-ceiling windows offering city views. Amenities include a heated pool, gym, and self-service laundry room, perfect for business travelers. The signature butterfly pastries also have a good reputation.

I arrived earlier than the check-in time and was told the room was being cleaned. When I returned at 4:30 PM, they said there were no rooms available. Thanks to my local guide, who strongly complained, we were assigned a good room. The Kaaba view is truly amazing. We were also grateful for the welcome fruits and sweets provided daily. The breakfast buffet doesn't have much variety, but the taste is decent. The bread is delicious, and waiters bring tea and coffee to your table. I'd like to stay here again. Thank you.

Easy access to masjidil haram from hotel lobby and elderly friendly. To polish a bit more on customer service skills. Over and all, nice place to stay for your umrah especially.

I have stayed at this hotel for the past five years, but after this experience, I will never return. The main reason is the behaviour of Pupa, the manager. Her rudeness and appalling way of speaking to guests during check-in were completely unacceptable. It was the worst hotel experience I have ever had in Dubai. The room also had terrible air conditioning, fixed at 22°C and constantly switching off during the night, making it impossible to sleep. Staying at this hotel can easily ruin your holiday.

I used to have a good impression of this hotel, so I chose it again for a business trip to Delhi. However, the front desk service wasn't very welcoming, and the room felt quite old with dim lighting due to the lack of a main ceiling light. The advantage is that it's located inside a mall, making it very convenient to go for Chinese food.
