This ******* courtyard carefully maintained by a ******* brother and sister should be the most carefully run homestay in Batang. It is really carefully managed, from the solid wood decoration of the guest rooms, the natural texture of the mud walls, to the comfortable linens and bathroom equipment, etc., all make people feel natural and comfortable. It was the third day after entering the Sichuan-Tibet line, and I had the most comfortable night's sleep! The courtyard has carefully planted potted flowers and plants, grapes, walnuts, vegetables and fruits. The owner's hospitality and care are very warm and unforgettable. A homestay run with great care, very impressive, five-star rating and recommended!

It was fantastic! The owners and their family were incredibly kind. They bought mushrooms in Cuopu Valley and cooked them for us, and even made noodles for us the next morning. The hot spring was also very clean, with a private room. The room was spacious and even had charging stations. For this price, it was unbeatable.

After crossing Haizi Mountain Pass, I reached Batang, fondly dubbed the “Jiangnan of the Plateau.” The Twin Lakes rest serenely beneath snow peaks, resembling sapphires scattered across the earth. Their glassy, transparent waters create a breathtaking contrast against the distant snow-dusted mountain ridges. This quiet little town on the banks of the Jinsha River exudes a gentle, mellow vibe, tempering the rugged majesty of the 318 journey with quiet, down-to-earth warmth. After a full day of driving, I checked into an excellent hotel that melted away all my travel fatigue the instant I walked through the door. The rooms were spotless, tastefully decorated and wonderfully comfortable, fully equipped with all necessary facilities. While resting indoors, I could gaze out the window at Batang’s soft, rolling mountain vistas. Every kilometer along the road is filled with breathtaking scenery and calming moments. The epic splendor of Route 318, the delicate charm of Batang, and this fantastic hotel combined to make this leg of the trip an utterly unforgettable treasure.

Hotel location is close to Batang Center. It takes about ten minutes to walk. You need to scan the code to join the member of the China Living Club before you check in. You can fill in the ID number to have a breakfast coupon. This is not very satisfactory. Others are OK. The room facilities are quite satisfactory. It is the level of a chain hotel. There are not many types of breakfast, there are noodles and rice noodles, and there are not many other options. There is nothing to eat. The front desk ladies are still very enthusiastic.

The exterior is under renovation. I drove past and then returned to find it. The room is quite big and quiet at night. The bathroom is not separated into dry and wet areas, which is troublesome to take a shower. Breakfast is not in the hotel, but in the visitor center of Cuopugou. This is my first time to experience this. There are few varieties, but the taste is okay, better than nothing. After eating, I went directly to Cuopugou, so overall it should be the best choice if you want to go to Cuopugou.
