Amazing
PPhilTAmazing stay with a great view, quality hotel room, welcoming and attentive staff. I had some special requests which they helped with during my staff. Location is very private and quiet but also come with the downside of being a bit further away from stores or restaurants. Would love to visit again in the future.
GGuest User. Halekulani Okinawa is an outstanding resort that delivers exactly what you expect from the brand: impeccable service, exceptional comfort, and a deep sense of calm.
The service is flawlessâattentive, warm, and genuinely thoughtful without ever feeling intrusive. The rooms are extremely comfortable, beautifully designed, and perfectly suited for a slow, restorative stay. The surrounding nature is stunning, and the resort feels well integrated into its landscape, which adds a lot to the overall experience.
We stayed in December, and despite it being winter, the atmosphere was still incredibly pleasant and charming. The main pool does not operate in winter, but honestly, it doesnât feel like a drawback at allâthere is so much more to the property than the pool.
Breakfast deserves a special mention: it is excellent, with high-quality ingredients and great variety. I highly recommend trying breakfast in different restaurants during your stay, as each offers a slightly different experience.
Overall, Halekulani Okinawa is a refined, serene, and beautifully executed resort. A perfect choice for those who value comfort, service, and atmosphere over loud entertainmentâeven in the winter season.
MMatsuriăžă¤ăAn absolutely fantastic vacation experience!
First off, the hotel's location is super convenient. You can get here directly from the airport by limousine bus or OAS, and from the moment I stepped off the bus, the welcome was impeccable. I didn't have to touch my luggage once the entire time. The front desk staff were lovely and explained everything thoroughly, and my room assignment was excellent.
My room was spacious with an incredible ocean view. I fell asleep and woke up every day to the sound of the waves. Pulling back the curtains revealed a 'jellyfish sea' â it truly felt like my ideal life. Plus, there's a bathtub in the room, and bath salts were replenished daily, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
I also have to rave about the hotel breakfast. You can scan a QR code to join the queue, and then head to the restaurant when it's almost your turn â so convenient. Both days I chose the buffet restaurant; the variety was great, and the ingredients were fresh. Enjoying breakfast while looking out at the ocean was an absolutely perfect experience.
Overall, highly recommended!
WWENLIMHad the pleasure of staying at this property for four nights and was impressed by the overall quality of the experience. The hotelâs central location in Onna Okinawa is an advantage, providing easy access to shopping, dining, and cultural attractions. It serves as an excellent base for leisure travelers if you self drive.
The room was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully equipped with a kitchen and washing machine, making it particularly convenient for longer stays. The layout was comfortable and functional, offering both relaxation and practicality.
Breakfast was a highlight of the stay. The buffet spread was wide. The system of collecting a queue number before lining up was efficient and ensured a smooth dining experience.
Evenings were made memorable by the hotelâs stunning sunset views. Watching the sky transition into vibrant hues from the property was a truly special experience that added to the charm of the stay.
Overall, the hotel delivered on all fronts: location, comfort, amenities, and atmosphere. I would not hesitate to return and will certainly choose this property again on my next visit to Okinawa.
AAnonymous UserWonderful hosts.I stayed in the attached two-story townhouse. Upstairs was a roomy bedroom with 3 big-sized single beds. Downstairs had a new bathtub/shower combo in the bathroom. and roomy kitchen had all modern amenities and served as the family room. Great outdoor space for a BBQ or just to relax with some snacks and drinks. Best part was my dog could enjoy being inside and outside with no restrictions. Just be considerate with your pet. (pay pet fee upon check-in ÂĽ1,100) Breakfast was delicious.
GGuest UserJust as you'd expect from a Hoshino Resort property. The place was spotless, and the amenities were excellent. Beyond the in-house cafe, the food trucks parked outside offered a great variety of dining options, giving guests more freedom of choice. My only slight surprise was finding a small insect in the room, but given the natural surroundings, it's probably unavoidable.
CcjessieThe hotel is new and clean overall. The breakfast is Chinese style, with a wide selection and decent taste. The jacuzzi in the room is great, and bath salts are readily available in the lobby. The only downside is that the hotel doesn't have any other facilities besides the swimming pool. It cost over 2,000 yuan per night when I booked, which is on the expensive side.
DDuoerbamaI still vividly remember their 30th-anniversary celebration. Other than the outdated facilities, everything else was impeccable, especially the Executive Lounge â it was absolutely perfect! Great views, excellent food, and an even better atmosphere. I really hope the hotel renovates its facilities soon; it would be a shame to waste such a prime location!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is great, big brands really do stand out. The breakfast was also very good. All facilities within the hotel require an additional charge, but the service was excellent. The room was quite spacious too. Overall, it was a good stay, and I'd book here again.
CC cowThe service was great! Every corner of the hotel room AND the bath area are squeakly clean. I could say that the bath area was even cleaner than most of people houses. The shower head power was incredibly strong, I could wash my hair 2x faster than normal showers! Parking area was huge and convenient. The bedroom was super cozy, the beds were comfy too but if you need extra spaces for maybe your family, theres extra futon for you to use (although you have to ask the counter and pay). Overall I really enjoyed staying over. I was suprised during my stay, there were barely any customers which made my bathing experience extra enjoyable.
