Hotels with Breakfast in Monterey

The hotel is very close to the aquarium. The room was large and had a fireplace, which made it very warm. There was a long sofa bed by the window, but I kept hitting my head on the corner of the wall! I hit it so hard I forgot to take pictures. The bathroom faucet was leaking, and I called twice but no one answered. When checking in, the front desk saw Asian faces and put them in a different building. I had read other guest comments before and it turns out they were true. The other building had a long corridor connecting it, and the room faced the street, which was extremely noisy. There was a constant mix of music and loud motorcycle sounds. This night was too long, I had to wait until dawn. Breakfast was very good, generous portions and delicious. The restaurant and parking attendants were all very nice.

The hotel is in the city center, quite close to all the attractions. We stayed in a double room with a king-size bed; the room was comfortable and spacious. The bathroom had a glass partition. However, we saw another room before this one which wasn't as good, as its bathroom only had a curtain. Our room was quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't have breakfast included, so I can't comment on that.

I stayed in Monterey for two nights to watch whales. The hotel is very close to the port and it is very convenient to drive for ten minutes. However, I was very seasick when I went out to sea. I fell asleep as soon as I got back to the hotel. The breakfast the next day was quite rich, with fried rice

The hotel has convenient parking and a great environment. The only downside is that you have to carry your luggage up the stairs yourself. As for housekeeping, they won't clean your room unless you specifically ask them to, and you need to arrange it in advance. The in-room phone doesn't work, so you have to call the front desk on your mobile phone for any services you need.

Although it is a type of motel, the environment is very good and quiet. It takes about 10 minutes to drive to 17miles. There are a lot of free parking spaces. The area inside the room is OK, the air conditioning sound is a bit noisy

The room was large, spacious and very comfortable. It’s just that the street I live in is a bit noisy in the morning. The water heat in the shower is a bit slow. There is free wine in the evening. Parking is free and safe. There are Trader Joe’s around, net red cafe

I was given a semi-basement room with a narrow skylight when I checked in, and I decisively changed to a second-floor balcony room. If you are not satisfied with your stay, you must change the room, otherwise you will feel that our Chinese are easy to fool. The area near the hotel is very suitable for vacation and very comfortable.

The location is splendid. Everything is alright except for the fact that we had to carry our luggage up and down the stairs to reach our room. There are in total 2 sets of stairs with small steps and our luggage was quite heavy. There is an elevator but it only carried us to to the floor and not where our hotel room is actually located. You definitely need to request for wheelchair accessible rooms if you don't want to burden yourself in carrying your heavy luggages or if you are bringing someone who is disabled or the elderly. The free breakfast had a pancake maker which was really nice.

Everything was good except the fact of someone pounding on my door at 1:00am then they took off! It was ridiculously unacceptable as they think it’s funny! Other then that, the view of the beach from our room was spectacular. Well worth the cost. Checking in/out was quick and easy.

Good location, walk 10 minutes to the old fisherman's wharf, there is a Chinese supermarket on the right. The room structure is reasonable and easy to use, and the bedding and sofa are comfortable. Cold meals are available at 16:00 in the lobby, ham cheese fruit wine is very good. No hot food for breakfast and no meat, sorry. Overall good and worth recommending. Monterey town is beautiful, there is no parking near the aquarium, 17miles is beautiful, and the coastline of camel town is stunning.
