"Good: Our 4th stay with IBIS in France and finally a clean room! No mould either! Good value, basic room as should be expected. TV is very small but works. Self check in easy, all entry is code based using your reservation outside of reception hours. Worked well! Minus 1 star - Poor breakfast. No eggs (or bacon but we don't expect that at a budget hotel), and an egg station is not hard to have! No chocolate croissants and the plain croissants were all raw in the middle, just crust and a ball of dough in the middle so unedible. No bananas either which is simple to have. Not worth the money! Minus 1 star - During breakfast 3 staff were hanging around eating from the breakfast area and just chatting. Maybe best to take and eat and leave guests to eat their breakfast? Staff member also had their child there. They were then all standing at the exit smoking when we left so had to walk through all their smoke with no consideration for guests with small children. Again, best to do it elsewhere? "

"The overall price of the hotel is good, if you choose a balcony by the sea, the scenery is really great. Breakfast is a typical Western food, the restaurant faces the sea, so the environment is elegant. In addition, the hotel provides free bottled water (they provide bottles for you to continue unlimited)."

"In the village centre but only yards from the beach, with shops, bars and restaurants close at hand, this hotel is an excellent choice for a stay in Coutainville. Free public parking is not difficult to find, but may be more challenging in high season. The staff are welcoming and obliging, service comes with a smile. Rooms are simple, clean and functional. Narrow stairs with no lift. Warmly recommended overall. "
