Beautiful hotel in beautiful surroundings. 5 minute drive from Brockenhurst high street. Close to Lyndhurst. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Love everything about the New Park Manor

Came here for an afternoon tea. cost of this was £70! the food was very clearly bought in and not homemade, this is absolutely disgusting. sandwiches just taste like cheap margarine and there was watercress on top of the cakes. the saving grace was the lovely staff member Nikki who we couldnt fault, she was the perfect amount of attentive. the grounds are beautiful I just wouldnt eat here again. This was our first ever cream tea and will certainly be our last!

Had the most wonderful afternoon celebrating my mums birthday yesterday. The food and cocktails were delicious, the staff were so helpful and friendly. A special thanks to Maria who asked the gardener to take a break from cutting the lawn so we could enjoy the beautiful surroundings peacefully and watch the deer grazing on such a glorious day! A perfect retreat and we can't wait to return!

We felt relaxed the moment we arrived. The spa is close to the car park and entrance. It was clean and smart. Our massages were fantastic! We enjoyed the pool, sauna and steam. The pool jets weren’t working which was a shame :/ We used the outside hot tub, and enjoyed a pimms while looking out over the Forest. We had our food in the reception area, previously we’d eaten in the restaurant. It felt comfortable. The food was delicious! It was all so good and I would heartily recommend to others.

This was a Christmas present for myself & a friend - neither of us have had a spa experience before. We loved it, especially the hydrotherapy pools outside overlooking the forest. The weather was kind luckily so we spent a lot of time outside but also enjoyed all the indoor facilities. Plenty of water supplied & we drank plenty of it. Everything was clean, robes, towels & slippers provided. The cream tea was enjoyable & the massage treatments topped off a lovely afternoon. Thank you to all exceptional staff, we had a great time

We often come to The New Forest in the school holidays but often struggle to find a nice hotel with a pool, a family bedroom and a place that allows dogs. This hotel ticked all those boxes! Our bedroom was a large double with an interconnecting twin room next door where our teenage children slept, this worked well. Rooms were spacious and clean. Great views looking across fields of deer and horses. If we wanted to eat meals in the hotel we needed to be in the restaurant away from the ‘family’ restaurant. Which was absolutely fine by us as that room was very noisy with very excited children! Our children being 14 and 17 were more mature and we all appreciated being away from the hectic environment! We had dinner one night in the hotel, children had burgers and us adults had steak, all was delicious. The price we paid was what you would expect from a hotel. Breakfast was included in our stay, continental was served in the ‘family’ room but we could take this into the other quieter restaurant and could order from the hot breakfast menu- great selection to suit us all. We made full use of the indoor pool, hot tub and the outside pool. The hotel is very child friendly - there were many young children there when we were. One thing I do wish is that parents took a little more control over their children and not let them run around the hotel, especially in the bedrooms where we could hear each morning and at night. I think our dog was better behaved than some that stayed there! The hotel was situated in a quite part of the New Forest, with lots of lovely walks around. It’s a short drive into Brockenhurst where you will find a Tesco, plenty of pubs and restaurants. We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel and would highly recommend to ours.

My family and I had a very enjoyable stay at New Park Manor. Positives: The staff are exceptional. Everyone of them greeted you when passing, and the dining room staff were super friendly and accomodating to us and our daughter. Cannot praise them enough. The food is amazing. The range of food available for breakfast was incredible, and for dinner the choices were decent and the portion sizes were huge! We had £28 pp included in our package but didnt mind adding a little extra to get an extra course. A nice touch is all kids food was free and our daughter had smaller plates adults food like curry for no extra. Makes a nice change from the kids menu being nuggets and chips. The Spa was really nice and just what we needed, and my wife had 2 good treatments in there plus we used the pool with our daughter. The extras that are provided like the milk and cookies station, the snug bits with kids books, and the little touches like being able to order a warm milk to be brought to the room at bedtime were really really well received. The could be slightly better: The room was a little bit tired, the table had quite a few marks as did the carpet. That beind said it was all very clean, and there were lots of nice things in there like the coffee pod machine, and the luxury toiletries in the bathroom. The bathroom had obviously been redone and was very nice. No major issues at all just maybe needs a few quid spending to bring the room up to scratch. The outside park was also very tired. The swings were all lopsided and looked a bit sad! Just needed a bit of a revamp. That being said, our two year old still found enough to do, however older kids might be a bit unimpressed! There was also a broken giant connect 4 that looked a bit poor. Just needs a bit of a refresh outside. The bad: There is a 12.5% service charge that is automatically added to all of your bills for food and drink. I will point out this is clearly advertised as discrecionary, however i do not feel there is any need for this in a hotel and you are made to feel awkward for asking them to take it off, especially when the staff are so good. A fair point would be that if the staff are good you should give a tip, however i dont think in a hotel that isnt cheap anyway you should be assumed that you will add that much. If you stay in a luxury hotel it is reasonable to assume that a service will be reflected in the standard pricing. All in all we had a fantastic time and i would definately recommend.

Had beautiful afternoon tea here last week. Absolutely delicious and excellent selection of sandwiches scones plain and fruit cream and jam and lovely top tier selection of cakes and tarts. Can highly recommend. Staff and surroundings were wonderful. Really nice treat 😁

I would like to thank you for Byron and the whole team at the New Park Manor for our amazing 2 day stay with my brother . It was a surprise for his birthday and I couldn't have made a better choice. From check in to check out everything was fabulous 👌 The little touches ( in room amenities, birthday plate at dinner ) everything made us feel so welcomed. The drinks made by Andrew and his colleague ( sorry cannot remember his name ) was absolutely brilliant, the BEST Pinacollada we ever had 👏 Food was delicious, garlic bread was amazing! We had a massage treatment too and I must say that was one of the best I ever had ( been in few places alread around the world) . Please extend our gratitude to the whole team , we will definitely be back 😊

We booked New Park Manor after receiving a dining delights voucher and we were thoroughly impressed. FOH were fantastic, really on it and super friendly. We ordered the pork belly, steak, fish & chips .. and of course desert. All were fantastic, especially my steak which was cooked perfectly to my preference. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return, thank you so much!

This quirky hotel is constrained by its original building but as a family friendly venue it can hardly be bettered . Why? How? Because its staff are exemplary. Courteous, helpful, kind and even generous. Five Stars from our family.

The staff were perfect; so lovely and friendly. The food and drinks were incredible. But...the building is tired. The decor needs a revamp and the fixtures and fittings are in need of modernising. It's a real shame, because the staff are doing so much right, but the building itself needs a lot of investment.

Dined in the restaurant last night service was terrible and food was disgusting. Paid £28 for rump steak and was told it only come with one side. When I queried it with a second waiter, he said no, it did come with two and eventually I got a salad to go with it pictures attached the rump steak was full of Grizzle, there is no serviettes and no water served at my table either yet there was that on all the others way to seem to be new and not know what he was doing, but more than anything. The food was disgusting. I would not recommend this restaurant.

With our steaks being a popular choice, and serving many portions on a weekly basis to many happy guests, I am surprised by your comments, as well as your picture of what appears to be chewed meat. It is clearly stated on the menu what accompaniments come with each dish, so I am at a loss to to explain your confusion. The team that were on the night that you dined with us have been with us many months and are usually highly praised for their attentive service and friendliness. You dined in our Vinery restaurant and I think that you mean there were no linen napkins as opposed to no serviettes, for which you are correct, as it is an informal and relaxed dining space. The paper napkin or serviette is identified in the picture with the aforementioned piece of chewed meat and I would think it highly unlikely that you were not offered a drink during your meal service. The Stag (our more formal restaurant in the evening) is currently operating as a lounge due to the first phase of our refurbishments in our lounges starting this week. I do hope that you had opportunity to let the team know of your dissatisfaction at the time, as we are engaged and would have ensured a new dish was prepared for you and to your satisfaction. Nevertheless, we take your feedback onboard and Chef has spoken with our butcher as well as monitoring the steaks over the next few days to see if there is any similar feedback. Best wishes, Byron

I’ve just got back from a wonderful stay with my dog sunny. I booked the waggy tails package for two nights. First off would love to say thank you for the complimentary upgrade to the Ash room which gave a lovely forest view with sites of horses pigs and other wildlife. The attention to detail was amazing and cute. When I arrived they had set out a bed, bowls and a welcome pack of goodies for sunny. The afternoon tea that was included was wonderful especially it being accompanied with a glass of fizz. Sunny definitely enjoyed his. The restaurant for food was lovely. Even have a menu for dogs. Which sunny had the chicken veggies and gravy. Everyone from the people at reception, the restaurant to the cleaners were so wonderful and welcoming. So helpful with suggestions on where to go for a walk in the forest. Was told it will be refurbished soon. Hopefully will return once it’s finished.

Recently stayed here, the food in the restaurant is absolutely magnificent. In general, the dishes are absolutely excellent, but the dessert - the sticky toffee, was one of the best I ever ate. Would reccomend anyone who likes good food to stay here, which combined with the amazing quiet and undisturbed nature makes for a fabulous experience.
