"We are so happy, my wife and I, that we decided to stay at Iain and Wayne's Eden's Rest. We were welcomed so warmly, and helped to find the treasures of St Austel and Cornwall, by Iain. His breakfasts were superb, his talk great fun, his kindness was heartfelt, genuine. The bed was a delight, beautiful cotton sheets and quilt, the room so comfy, kept clean every day when we were away visiting. The house was very peaceful indeed, the garden a delight to behold. Loved everything that we saw and did at Eden's Rest."

"Stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. Well located, but does not provide the the same services as the standard Best Western Hotels. Rooms aren’t cleaned on daily basis and you don’t get the towels, toiletries refilled in your room. Staff is super friendly and room is ok and serves its purpose."

"The room is new and clean, but it is as small as ever. After opening the sofa bed, the boxes in the room cannot be unfolded. The bedding is very comfortable, the service is good, and it is convenient to eat and refuel near the highway."

"Spent 3 days here on a bed and breakfast basis. Room was spacious and in an annex outside the main building so nice and quiet. Breakfast was very good with a substantial choice.  Drinks were  expensive (especially wine) and food in the evening was the usual pub faire, would have been nice to have a pasta and salad option. Charlestown was lovely and the hotel is well situated for the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Overall a good stay and would recommend this hotel."

"Didn’t expect to be staying in a block of rooms which were pretty soulless. Wanted to go into the Hotel bar for a drink but because we didn’t have a meal booked, as wanted to go out to Portreath by the sea for food, we weren’t allowed in the bar for a drink from 6pm, it was cordoned off! so I have no idea what the hotel bar is like. So I feel for the money we paid we didn’t actually get to use any of the hotel. All we wanted was a drink in the bar with the view. I won’t be rushing back."
