Sambiya River Lodge

My parents, wife and I had an unforgettable experience at Sambiya. The staff catered to all our needs. The meals left us satisfied each time and the attention to detail was definitely noticed by the entire family. We’d highly recommend everyone to choose Sambiya. Aside from this, additional highlights included the outdoors showers (in each cottage), canopy walk, zip line and breakfast by the strongest falls in the world!!

Sambiya river lodge is located a few kilometers from the top of the falls. The lodge is strategically located and it is overlooking Sambiya river. I and my team of 6 people checked in at Sambiya river lodge on 12th April 2024 for a period of 2 nights but the most fascinating part is that the hospitality at this lodge. You feel the warm welcome from their entrance gate. At the reception, we met Anna, a very knowledgeable and appealing face of Sambiya river lodge. Anna briefly took us through what to expect while at Sambiya together with his support staff (waiters, waitresses and concierges) too bad I didn’t get their names. Before we knew it welcome beverages were served as our dinner orders were being taken. We checked into the rooms and refreshed as we waited for our dinner to be ready. It took them less than 40 minutes to serve our dinner and everything was on point and tasty. A special thank you to the chef who was always in the Kitchen to make sure that our meals were always yummy. Since the following day we had a very early morning game drive, we made our breakfast orders and requested for parked breakfast. After dinner, it was time for checking into our rooms with the help of the concierges. Each of our rooms had a private balcony to enjoy the spectacular and eye-catching views of Sambiya river. While at Sambiya river lodge. You can take part in activities like Ziplining, canopy walk, swimming, nature walk among others and all the mentioned activities are on the house. Saying goodbye to the Sambiya river lodge friendly and hospitable staff was the most heartbreaking part. I highly recommend Sambiya river lodge for all your stay regardless of the length of the stay. Kenya - Uganda road trip brought us to this place . A gem out of the blue ! Wanted to stop there for a coffee , opted to have breakfast , fell in love with the place and decided to spend the night at the Sambiya lodge . The manager - Krishna and Puja that looked after the lovely food .

It was a memorable fam trip for 2 night at Sambiya River Lodge. The place is spacious and very green,amazing hospitality with great amenities and delicious food. The customer care was awesome from receptionist to Security guards who intervened when we got surprise visit of Buffaloes. It was a memorable trip, amazing hospitality with great amenities. Rever side brunch was surprised my family and others when we posted our pics for dp and other. My kids over enjoyed zip line and swimming pool, Thank you Mr. Sharma for your surprise birthday cake for Nayan.

This Lodge is located at very convenient place and easily accessible.Very Nice Hospitality by Mr. And Mrs Sharma.Indian food is very delicious and rooms are very nice.Everything arrange by Sambiya river Lodge Staff in a perfect way.Also Breakfast at Marchison is awesome.Zipline experince is also very goof.

Amazing place, very African designed cottages with comfortable beddings. The place is spacious and very green. Beautiful birds in the the trees. Great chef and waiters who prepared breakfast at the top of Murchison Falls Buffalo sightings sometimes at the nature walk

Moris James Buyungo , in charge of client liaison and also the guide for the day is a specialist! The rooms and bed are so cozy. For a moment you forget you are in the wilderness! The zipline over the flamboyant canopy spiced up the occasion. It is a must go for everyone!

The place is cosy, with the best feel of the wild environment. Sleeping in my cottage overlooking the buffallos was magical. The customer care was awesome from the receptionist, Annegrette, the services from the manager service Bright was amazing. The food was tasty and we enjoyed our stay and welfare thanks to the Manager who made our stay comfy and exceptionally beautiful.
