Staff here are very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious, clean and the bed and pillows are comfortable. Cons: *air conditioning took a very long time to kick in. Felt like it was blowing out hot air instead of cool. *the hot water in the shower took a long time just to get warm. *the swimming pool on the 20th floor looks great but the heat was suffocating and unbearable and the pool water very warm. Pros: *great location, within walking distance to restaurants. *good bathroom amenities and clean shower with minimal mould. *room has plenty of space for luggage (for 2 people) *highlands coffee shop in the lobby was great. Nice place to sit and relax and enjoy a coffee or iced tea! Really nice and clean place to stay.

An amazing hotel. I stopped over on my way to Ban Gioc Waterfalls. The staff made all the difference at this hotel, especially Thao, the receptionist. She went above and beyond with aiding any questions or queries I had. Her warm welcome and attention to detail made me feel like a valued guest from the moment I walked in. Thao’s exceptional service even extended kindness, she went out of her way to help clean my motorbike visor. A must stay. I can’t wait to return to this hotel on my next trip!

We stayed at the Max Boutique hotel in Cao Bang in a fairly large comfortable room with all the necessary amenities and very good service especially from the staff on the front desk. The location is superb being surrounded by breath taking scenery. The breakfast served each morning was particularly good but unfortunately they do not have a restaurant for dinner . However we were able to find an excellent bbq restaurant in town and there were also plenty of good restaurants to choose from nearby

The receptionist was very warm and welcoming. The room was a bit compact but was clean and the toilet was also good with strong hot water. The beds were comfy and the TV, A/C and wi-fi worked well. They dont do meals but everything is right there. Great central location to explore the Cao Bang city and market. Bus to the waterfall passes the hotel and the receptionist will happily guide guests on a suggested itinerary. On weekends the night market happens along the street in front and the hotel is in the centre of all the action) - lots of cafes right there. Would stay again. Location is a plus in the middle of Kim Dong Road.
