Hotel Lory is a 3 generation family run 4 star hotel in Celano which itself is a small town dominated by its castle, and has a great view of the mountains nearby, Manager,Salvatore and the other staff members were very helpful, polite,accommodating throughout our stay and speak with a good level of English. The reception is open 24/7 and easy to get tea/ coffee etc throughout the day Rooms are spacious and cleaned by the maids to a very high standard . Great breakfast buffet - typical Italian style with sweet cakes but also cereals, cheese, salami, boiled eggs, plenty of juices, hot drinks. Salvatore arranged for a family gathering for me within the hotel for 40 guests with food /music on one of the evenings.Brilliant evening We will happily visit again. D

Lovely hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff. Shuttle picked us up at the train staion which was easy and very helpful. Staff did their best to communicate with using English which was appreciated! The room was lovely, large, clean and comfortable. The hotel restaurant was excellent! Best wine ever!

I chose this property because it was not far from the ski lifts. Courteous and kind staff. Spacious and clean rooms. Breakfast plentiful and very good. The hotel restaurant offers tasty and discreet dishes. Overall I recommend the structure for those who have to go skiing and for those in search of tranquility, good food and excellent value for money.

A weekend of absolute rest. The dinner was tasty with simple dishes but with a pleasantness that is not always found (sometimes unsalted and sometimes salty) perfect in the condiments. On our way back from L'Aquila we spent the night in this hotel. Clean room and great bathroom. The breakfast is also excellent. Ample parking behind the structure. We did not have dinner at the hotel and therefore I would not be able to review the restaurant.

I stayed for three days at the Lory hotel with my husband and my parents in July 2021 we had a great time. Very clean, organized hotel, friendly and helpful staff. The owners very kind and wait for the covid regulations to be carried out. Excellent breakfast and dinner! I recommend it to those who want to spend a few quiet days and enjoy excellent cuisine. I would like to thank again Mrs. Lory, owner for having prepared a delicious cake for the anniversary of our wedding ... Paola
