Sadly we arrived at 03.30 and the hotel doors were literally chained up and the 2 men who worked there were fast asleep on the floor. It was a very intimidating street and if I was by myself I would not have stayed. Bathroom had water all over the floor and no hot water but hey ho this is Delhi We checked out the next day

It was the worst hotel experience ever, dont recommend anyone to stay in this property, every individual intracted during our stay was rude and unprofessional.

This was the second time I experienced a front reception person playing Judge and juror over my passport having Mrs in it and me travelling solo in india . I happened in Jodhpur & this hotel in Delhi. In Western culture women do travel without their married partner also our passports are 10 years so our circumstances can change during the life of our passports. I respect india has different values to western cultures but please also respect ours. The responsibility of the hotel is to ensure the occupant/s pays the bill respects the premises and other paying guests it’s not go question a wo*** as to why she is travelling without her husband. We don’t need his consent and also the wo*** maybe a widow etc now. Please don’t stay in places like this that try and enforce unacceptable standards onto paying guests. I am entitled to stay solo or with who I choose providing I respect the premises and pay my bill.

Small hotel in a dingy side road but well located with the market, metro and restaurants, local and international, located close by. The rooms were small but clean (to Indian standards) although hot water can be a gamble. Staff friendly and really helpful. Kettle in rooms although I had a problem with getting coffee but came once requested. The main advantage for this hotel was the rooftop terrace, a great place for a beer and smoke. We stayed there either end of a 14 day tour so not our choice but okay for a short stay.

We stayed here before beginning our intrepid tour and were very happy with our stay. The ***ager Swagat was so welcoming, he offered me tea and shared advice, and even walked me to a restaurant to personally recommend good food. As a solo traveller, he made me feel very looked after in his hotel and city.

spent 3 nights in thiss hotel in the middle of Karol Bag Market. Difficult to go out in the evening because of crowded area. There are no restaurants in the area al****h the hotel provides dinner. Difficult to reach by car . Rooms are clean and beds are confortable. Both the rooms we were assigned had no jot water in the evening, but we could take a shower with hot water in the morning.

We booked the hotel for a group of 20 and the service was pathetic. The showers weren’t clean. There were hairs of previous guest in the bathroom and the person on the reception was rude. There were no soaps too. Was a nightmare staying there.

My daughter and I travelled from London. Room was dusty. But.. the bed…I could feel springs coming through in the bed. I added an extra duvet for comfort. The ***agement said they will check it but they never did or didn’t care. No hot water in shower, after 2nd day. The shower had a broken fitting. Told to run water for 5 mins before hot water would run. But it didn’t. Dirty stuffy breakfast room. Not a very nice breakfast. Great location and brilliant stores market and restaurants nearby. Although ***agement told us to eat at McDonald’s! Hardy got any sleep over a 3 night stay.
