"We had booked this restaurant two weeks prior to celebrate our daughter's graduation. The venue and its presentation on the website seemed to live up to the occasion and justified the trip from Saint-Étienne. Upon arrival, after an initial 15-minute wait, we were asked where we wanted to be seated. We said outside, but after another five minutes, we were told there were no more tables available. The problem was, there were no more tables inside either... apparently, they weren't expecting us. We were then seated in a cramped corner of the dining room, where they hastily set four place settings. But in this place, hardly befitting a so-called "remarkable" establishment, it was unbearably hot. Convinced something was wrong, we got up to head back to Saint-Étienne. A young woman rushed over to tell us they would "figure it out" and seat us outside. We waited outside for a good fifteen minutes and saw young people (students? summer job seekers?) running around, looking for a table and then plastic chairs in a shed in the courtyard. Finally, we were seated. We ordered menus and wines... which never arrived. After the first course, we told the clearly inexperienced waiter that it was no longer necessary to bring the first wine. The waiter then announced: "Oh dear, and I forgot to tell you that the second wine isn't available; in fact, I'm not quite sure what we have left." He came back five minutes later to say that there was no more Burgundy and offered us only one other wine. We gave up... There was a flurry of activity. The wine arrived, but the waiter told us: "I should have brought ice cubes, because it's warm (indeed the bottle was boiling hot), you know we don't have a cellar for reds..." My husband declared that with a little cinnamon and a few cloves, we would almost be there.... we could laugh about it, but our evening was really ruined."

The bathroom is renovated at nine and therefore very modern. The hotel is very comfortable and helpful, and it is very helpful to listen to the requests and makes its best to make you stay as good as possible."
