Positive side: good location and it is very convenient to catch earlier plane.
Negative side: 1). The receptionnist was quite rude and impolite during the check-in process; 2). The volume of the shower was incredibly small and I was unable to take a shower; 3). The door has no soundproof, too thin; 4). The hotel refused to provide more drinking water except only 2 small bottles, which was not enough at all. The drinking water is a big problem in China, and many foreigners who come from the countries have a great resource of water cannot drink China’s tap water, because it can make them diarrhée; 6). The quality of the breakfast was undesirable and very boring, etc..

Although the room is small and complete, it is more than enough to live alone. Because I catch a plane early in the morning, I specially found a store closest to the airport on the Internet. The key is to pack the pick-up and drop-off, and it is not expensive. What I didn’t expect is that the boss will call the guests intimately in the morning to get up. This Chengdu Peninsula Apartment Chain Hotel is really great! The facilities are complete, the stay experience is very good, and it is very close to Shuangliu Airport and the transportation is very convenient. I went out to play with a few friends. I chose to stay in a hotel close to the airport that night. Although the road was difficult to find, a phone call was made by the hotel owner and immediately came to show us the way. I also sent us out for dinner that night. We were provided with wake-up service and drop-off service at four o'clock in the morning the next day. Our luggage was very heavy and we were very enthusiastic to help us with our luggage. It was really great 👍🏻.
Regarding sanitation:
Such an affordable hotel also has a smart toilet! ! It's so friendly to people who are afraid of the cold! The room was clean and tidy, and there was no smell. The four of us girls didn't live too comfortable. Slippers were disinfected. If there is a chance to play in Chengdu, I will still choose this hotel.

I flew back to Shuangliu in the early morning. After landing, I saw that their home had a pick-up service. Then I saw that the price was very cheap and I placed an order at will. I didn’t have much hope and thought about taking a shower and changing clothes. The next day, I had to turn around anyway. I didn't expect their home to be completely beyond my expectations from pick-up to check-in to the next day's breakfast: the room facilities are complete, the breakfast variety is very good, the front desk service is also very warm, take the initiative to help me arrange the next day's drop-off, as far as this price is concerned, I really feel very worthwhile.

I didn't arrive til 1 am. The man who was there checked me in. I went to the room to find I couldn't lock it. Wasted half hour sleep I could have had an made me feel uneasy the chain had come off however fixed within half hour. But made me feel off I had only been there for 6 hours

Concept: I like the concept of integrating hotels, cafes and bars, which makes the experience of staying in the hotel very convenient.
Environment: I like the environment it creates in the old town, as if in the jungle, with many large green plants, indoors and outdoors. The big tree at the door is specially decorated with a parrot's nest, and the wall tiles in the bathroom are also green and gold with a jungle feel. The floor tiles in the bedroom also have the visual effect of a gravel road. Although you are indoors, you can also feel the concept of nature.
Food: Every drink in the hotel, whether it is coffee or wine, is very beautiful and tastes great. Fuqin is a subway station away, and there are also many local snacks.
Service: I like the front desk staff, who greet me with a smile every time I see them. One of the staff members also paid special attention to my preference for environment and service.
Facilities: The bed is very comfortable and the shower water temperature is also great. There is a guide booklet at the door, which is very suitable for people who are not familiar with this place to refer to some travel information.
Transportation: The subway station is just a few minutes’ walk away, and there are shared bicycles available at the door.

The staff at XISHU Garden are so helpful. They were caring for myself and other foreign travelers in the lobby. The staff spoke English well and could help me extend my stay.

The shared room is a good size. The sleeping cubby is large enough for a good sleep. (Anyone over 6 ft tall may need to consider size).
From TianFu Int. Airport ride MTR line 18 and transfer at South Railway Station to Line 1. Ride to Wenshu monastery station, leave out exit K.
At the Garden Inn: enjoy the living garden courtyard, in-house cooked meals, and comfortable furniture.

GGuest UserThe B&B I stayed in on the first day of my trip to western Sichuan was very comfortable. The B&B is decorated with unique features, spacious, clean and comfortable. It has a superior geographical location, close to Yangtianwo Square, Guanxian Ancient City, Dujiangyan and other scenic spots, and can be reached on foot. The store service is very good, enthusiastically introducing travel routes, and also upgraded the room for free. It is definitely the first choice for travel accommodation.

JJaneyyy89This resort is nothing short of amazing and I would definitely rate this resort 10/10! I have a young toddler aged 18MO & elderly parents above 70YO during this stay and we absolutely loved our stay here. Value-for-money (we stayed during off-peak season, weekday, about RMB1000/night for our original room type), relatively new, clean & big rooms.
Some noteworthy details:
- Service is top-notched. Staff were friendly & very helpful. We could see that they really put in their heart into the work they do. They even gave our little one a panda toy & she loves it - a really nice gesture by the resort.
- The resort is located at Jintang, a hot spring precinct. With Trip.com, we booked the hotel bundle/package and it was fantastic. The key items in the package include:
(a) A free strawberry picking experience at a nearby humble farm called 许姐草莓采摘. Each booking entitles you to 500g worth of strawberries (transport at own expense, only about RMB10 by Didi). The strawberries were big and juicy, we were lucky cos they are in season now!
(b) 40-min Himalayan Salt Therapy/Bath for 1 pax/room
(c) Outdoor hot spring experience for the whole family (my 18MO loves it too!). There are many pools to choose from & we could find one which was not too hot for our baby. This is otherwise chargeable from RMB228/pax to RMB468/family of 2A1C.
(d) Bicycle rental, but we didn’t try it as it was too cold.
- Resort looks amazing, both indoors & outdoors! There were a number of activities for children to enjoy too but our naughty one is too young to appreciate it. Older kids will love them.
- We also loved the hotel’s concept of having complimentary bottles of distilled water etc. which is really important to us as we needed a lot of water for our baby’s food. This meant that that we did not have to go to the trouble of finding a supermarket, which is quite a distance away.
- We managed to snag a free upgrade to a Spring 2-Bedroom Villa due to our Accor Gold membership & it’s low peak season. All villas come with private pool - ours was available both on L1 & L2.
- Hotel uses quality furnishing & Toto toilet, definitely a plus. Water pressure is great too.
- We had all our meals at L’Orange as there are no nearby eateries & our time is limited due to our baby. The steamboat set is pricey but highly recommended! The fish & lamb meat (can be changed to beef at diner’s request) were fresh & really good. We liked all the other meat dishes too except for the dumplings. If you have Accor Plus membership, the usual discounts are available too. The hotel breakfast is also at the same restaurant. Breakfast selection was good even though there were not many guests.
Areas of improvement:
- Resort was able to provide a baby cot for our 18MO. However, the mattress was a little hard & the cot was creaky, it kept our baby awake.
- The air-con ventilation vents are directly above the baby cot and it became too cold for our baby in the middle of the night. Couldn’t adjust the temperature no matter what. The staff managed to made it warmer the following night but it resulted in some loud noises, probably issues with the damper.
- Rooms can be a little cleaner (e.g we saw dust balls on the floor).

GGuest User1) Subway station is 30 seconds right across the road.
2) Location is good because it is enveloped by a few famous narrow alleys selling handicraft, snacks, desserts, souvenirs, Chinese artwork etc, and have endless food stalls, coffee shops that surround the hotel, buzzing with activities all day till at least 11pm.
3) Hotel staff speak minimal English but they do understand it albeit not able to converse freely. Naturally using PTH is best.
4) Staff in the entire hotel are very friendly, courteous, pleasant and accommodating, trying to help in any way possible.
5) Bespectacled night manageress in a black suit was very welcoming and sweet. She offered to upgrade us when the room originally assigned for us was not as quiet as we had requested when we booked it. She led us to see the original one ( 2/F )and the other one ( the quieter one on 3/F ) and let us choose.
6) The upgraded room ( 3/F ) was a suite and it was really nice --- very quiet with courtyard view and tasteful lay out.
7) Cannot praise enough for the delightful suite -- spacious and elegant ; super clean ; smells nice , refreshing and just right not overwhelming ; white crispy bed linen ; daily turn down service; endless supply of fresh bottled water on daily basis ; spotless tumbler and fresh bottle of water by the bedside table every evening; everything you touch is spotless ; wooden flooring matching Chinese wooden furniture in simple design giving out this classy Chinese feel ; free to consume anything for the 1st time in the mini bar ; tea & coffee replenished daily ; kettle and coffee machine; free stationery like scissors, stapler, clips, pencil and pens etc; toiletries like vanity set, combs, toothbrush etc replenished daily ; spacious bathroom with double wash basins and clean white towels ; wash basins in rose gold but not tacky; shower drainage not smooth on 1st night but they fixed it and no prob thereafter ; water pressure from shower was good and plenty of marble top inside shower room for your own toiletries ; bathtub with fresh rose petals on 1st night and various types of bath salt ; big screen to watch telly while in tub ; separate toilet near living room; ample wardrobe space and power operated blinds and black out blinds. They provide steam iron on request but it would be better to have a proper flat iron if you want to press pants and other thicker harder material. Steam iron is only good for silk or plain cotton. Even linen is better with a flat iron.
8) This is a 100% Chinese ambience hotel from lobby to our suite but nothing is gaudy or ostentatious because everything is simple, no fuss, low-key, very clean, good architecture, functional and all colour combo is soothing to the eyes.
9) We ate at their restaurant the 1st night and food was ok -- dan dan noodles slightly overcooked so it was a bit mushy. Fried rice was a huge serving with fresh shrimps and nicely cooked. Tea could be hotter. Service was attentive, efficient and proper.

CCeeVieAreThis is a decent budget hotel with clean room & bathroom to sleep after all day out visiting/shopping. Front desk is informative. If your back facing the hotel, on your left walk straight down on the main road for 10-12 mins until you see to landmark of Panda crawling backside on the top of IFS, Chengdu. Cross the road if go IFS; dont cross the road if you want to shop at Chunxi Street. Taiko Li is behind IFS or Silver Building. The streets are bustling with people, shops/merchandise, buildings with wonderful neon lightings that surely worth your social media posts.
Opposite Panda landmark is the 24hrs shuttle bus stop that goes to Tianfu Airport, vice versa at RMB15 one way. Alternatively if you have heavy luggages you can take a 1 hr cab ride to Tianfu via highway around RMB210. Plan 3 hours ahead your flight if you plan to shop in duty free.
There are convenient store on your left, boutique and fruit store on right. There is a local tour shop at the hotel lobby. Any day trip arrangements to Panda Research Center, Sanxingdui Museum, Leshan, Jiuzhaigao, Er Mei Shan, Pingle Ancient Town/Tiantai Mountain, etc are available, reasonably priced, accommodating and friendly to foreign tourists.
Suggestion: Extra portable heater to be available as the heater can blow and reach bed area only ya; the corner room is big and spacious. Bathroom and sofa area were cold at night.

HHana moriThe hotel name is rather deceiving. When I booked, I thought it was IHG's Holiday Inn, but it's actually not. The location is somewhere in the middle of a village near the airport, but luckily they provided free airport pick up service (For international tourists, it's best to get a local number to call the hotel). Due to construction works nearby, the distance to the airport took longer than expected. But, overall the stay is okay as the room is nice and comfy.
