Famy Inn Makuhari

It’s an older motel with front of house staff that have been working in the hospitality industry for a while. I arrived before the check in time (3pm ~), I was checked in just before 3pm which I didn’t expect. Courteous, friendly staff. Breakfast was included in the 2 night stay - it was a simple Japanese meal that was easy sustenance - free servings of rice and soup. The staff made it a homely a**osphere with constant attention to guests asking them if they wanted more of what was available. Room 720 faced the busy Highway but also had a great view that included sky tree. I could open the large single pane window and thought it was a unique point. Cleaning staff were mainly foreign, all young and polite also. They knocked on doors to ask if rubbish needed removing and rooms cleaned. I didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant on 10F or the public bath and sauna - maybe next time. suggestions: (1) housekeeping: a quick dusting by cleaning staff (feather duster if not wet tissues) - the hotel is clean and even though it isn’t a 5 star hotel it makes a difference. The feather duster can easily reach corners of drawers and tables. Bathroom air filters can easily be cleaned with wet tissues. (2) room cards for cleaning- more specific than a don’t disturb card. it will save time for housekeepers as they knock on room doors to ask if rooms need to be cleaned. They can focus on cleaning and do a better job on a hotel that has been kept going for a while.

it is good in whole ~ the staff here is pretty~ the hotel location is convenient and the most important is that the hotel has shuttle bus to station and museum
