Gorgeous contemporary hotel in a prime location with fine restaurant, beautiful bar, and friendly service. Definitely recommend but with a few hiccups: a shower whose pipes rumbled when it ran hot, a lack of feminine hygiene products supplied even though toothbrushes were presumably available, and an unwaive-able “urban fee” which was essentially a fifty dollar charge for two cans of water for all its “benefits” we actually used. Be sure you’re calculating that in your budgeting.

Walkable to Millenium Park and other tourist spot. The check-in receptionist gave us a room with no view other than a wall. We requested an extra towel, nothing arrived. The parking was hard being no vallet parking and near Millenium Park. For the cost of stay, I’d rather consider other hotels.

I had a reservation for two rooms with doble beds but when I got there there wasn’t any available so we had to stay in a room with one bed

There was not enough and not clear explanation about parking system. I got charged twice for parking for one night.

The location was perfect for us. Central to many things - Millenium Park, theater district, Riverwalk, and the beginning of the Magnificent Mile. Macy's and the Cultural Center are also right there. The hotel was quiet. We didn't need a view because we enjoyed all the views from being out in the street exploring. Our hotel was our landing place to sleep and it was perfect. It was also convenient to stop at for a change of clothes or bathroom break. We also liked its character in an older historic building.

We enjoyed our stay at the Arlo. The room was comfortable with plenty of room. The staff was friendly and responsive.
