The White Birch Inn

Last minute stay at White Birch Inn while traveling for business and I was blown away by the accommodations. The staff went out of their way to make sure every detail was taken care of. The room was clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was the cherry on top!

This place is a hidden gem. My wife and I discovered it while passing through on a trip north. Absolutely one of the finest Inns we’ve stayed in. Super clean and very rustic yet elegant ambiance. We stayed in the Mountain Laurel suite which was super quaint and romantic. The breakfast was gourmet and the service was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this Inn.

We just returned from a delightful two-night stay at the White Birch Inn. From the moment we stepped inside, our expectations were exceeded at every turn. The decor, ambiance, and comfort of the rooms and the Inn are top-notch. On top of that, every staff member we encountered was so friendly and helpful (special shout out to Dana and Letty, who took exceptional care of us). The owner also took time to introduce herself and chat with us about our stay. There is a complimentary wine and cheese hour, and the included breakfast each morning was delicious. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch each evening looking out over charming downtown Clayton. It’s an old building, so the floors squeak and there’s a bit of road noise, but these are minor distractions from an otherwise perfect getaway. Highly recommend.

If you miss great service stay here for a few nights and you will have renewed faith in the service industry. The Inn is incredibly charming and so well run, the staff was just stellar . The breakfast, which is included is an amazing four course meal and they are very accommodating about food preferences. They have wine and cheese at 4 pm daily also in the lobby with a huge fireplace and game tables. So many cute common areas, patio, breakfast room, lobby with large fireplace, coffee bar sitting area and screened in porch. The rooms have lovely linens and very comfortable beds and bathrobes. They provide L'Occitane bath products which is a lovely touch. I am a frequent traveler to the area and have previously stayed at Julep Farms which is also lovely, but not near the town of Clayton and no breakfast included and the staff not as helpful. White Birch is great as you can walk to all downtown Clayton shops and restaurants .

I can’t say enough about this place and the staff. We were only supposed to stay one night and extended our stay to two nights! Every single moment of your stay is thought out above and beyond customer service expectations. The accommodations are beautiful. Breakfast is delicious. Wine and cheese social hour allows everyone the opportunity to meet and greet. I can’t wait to bring my girlfriends back!

What an amazing place to stay! From the moment we stepped inside the beautiful doors, we knew we had found a treasure. The energetic and friendly hostess gave us a tour of the entire inn, including our room. We were given tips on local restaurants as well. Our room was immaculate and perfect for us. The attention to detail was incredible. We received turn down service while at dinner and had a chocolate treat awaiting us upon return. The bed was extremely cozy and comfortable. Breakfast in the dining room the next morning was delicious. Fresh fruit, quiche, coffee cake...all on beautiful, coordinated dishes. Really, enough cannot be said about the special touches. We will come back!

My husband and I stayed this weekend for a getaway. TWBI was a perfect retreat. Everything was well appointed yet comfortable and functional. The staff was great and breakfast was Amazing. The location is great and close to everything downtown. We will definitely be back again.

The perfect Inn for a quick girl’s trip with my bestie. Sitting by the cozy fireplace sipping a glass of wine solving the world’s problems and hair dilemmas was the perfect introduction to our stay. The breakfast served by the lovely Letty was delicious. Comfortable bed with fluffy pillows gave me a restful night of sleep before the day of shopping and exploring in downtown Clayton. The owners have thought of everything.

We have gone here two years in a row for our yearly business offsite meeting. It is an amazing place. Each room is custom decorated down to the smallest touch. Both of my rooms have had a fireplace with a nice stone surround. The upstairs gathering space is wonderful and the main entrance and bar are beautiful as well. The staff is super friendly and can make a very nice cocktail. Breakfast was great last year, we left too early for Breakfast this year but we recieved a credit to use at the cofee shop which is amazing as well. The downtown area is fantastic as well. I would encourage you to book out the whole hotel with a family or group.
