Le Clervaux Boutique Hotel & Spa

We arrived around 4PM on time for the check in, but finding the reception wasn’t easy at all. Neither was the parking, when we finally found their backside parking garage no one opened the gates for us. No one was answering the phone either. My partner had to walk to the reception to ask them to open the gates. While we were standing in front of the gates still, more cars came and were waiting because the streets only fit one car. Finally parked the car, walked with out stuff to the reception and checked in. Hotel is a little bit of an Labyrinth too. Our rooms looked nice and big, we had 2 suite. In our room the curtains had really big holes so anyone could watch through. We had only 2 hangers for our jackets. The bed sheets were straight up terrible. In our room we had 1 smaller sheet over the mattress what was always slipping of so we were partly sleeping on the mattress. The big pillows were stuffed into a smaller pillow case what was very uncomfortable. We literally had to buy bedsheets because after asking room service they couldn’t help us. In the other room was some Plastik sheet over the mattress so I don’t know what was more comfortable. No sheet or plastic. I tried at least 20x to reach the reception one room service over their phone but no one answered or called back. The baths were clean and ok ok, there was just not really space to place stuff or the sinks. But we got fresh towels everyday was was also ok. The breakfast wasn’t really good either but we arrived late at 9:30 and breakfast is until 10. 20€ for it isn’t worth it. Spa was ok, swimming pool was always full the saunas were good too. Booked a massage, it was good. The wifi was working good. We had 3 tvs in our room but no remote was working. Also the cleaning people took our room card what was left inside the card holder for electricity, 😅 so we only had 1 card left

Suites are spacious and comfortable with huge bathrooms and beds! Breakfast plentiful with good choice and restaurants are good quality and reasonably priced, Suites are part of the Koener Hotel and linked by an internal bridge to breakfast room and pool. However this isn't clear when booking. The email gives wrong check in info which is very confusing- reception is in Koener and finding your way around the hotel is quite a challenge as signage also confusing! Apart from that and irritating electropop background music at breakfast its a lovely hotel.

We spent an amazing weekend in this hotel and will be back for sure. Everything was perfect! We sending warm regards to polish speaking girl from the reception. She gave us the nices welcome and also her coleafues from restaurant. Great service! Spa, hotel bathroom, super comfortable beds... amazing. Thank you!

Big, beautiful room , and quiet. That was good. Staff not very friendly or helpful. Like others said, I was never able to log on to the Internet. Parking was free. Hotel was a bit difficult to find. Overall well worth the price.

Amazing suite with loads of room. Real sense of luxury. Comfortable, clean and designer touches throughout.

So disappointed with the stay. Long in-check and service almost non-existing. I had to ask the staff in the desk several times for the bed for our little child which I had booket with the stay AND double-checked the day before that I was sure to have a bed for our child!! It was confirmed in e mail by the hotel! First time I asked for the bed they looked confused. I was told it would be in our room later. By dinnertime it still wasn’t and I asked again in service. (They did not give us any follow up..) now there was no bed! We have a little child who has to sleep!! But the staff promised to find out something for us. We would expect to a 4 star hotel that we would hear from the staff again so we knew what to do. But they seemed to have forgotten about us. The hours went by and almost 3 hours!!! Later when we all had gone into bed trying to sleep somehow the staff came with a bed!! Some of it. We had to wait again for the last bit of it and by 11 in the evening!!! Way past bedtime for our child we could go to sleep. So bad with no information or follow up!!

Nice and luxurious hotel in the centre of Clervaux. Pity about the AC and the pillows, otherwise this hotel would have perfect.

Before posting this I have tried several times to reach an agreement with the property directly but they did not want to hear anything. - we booked a suite duplex for 3 friends for a bachelorette party because the suite duplex is charming and feels special (we are from Luxembourg so for a night out in the country we picked this special room). The property had several issues that day with their rooms (many people complaining at the reception) and we were given a clervaux suite instead of the duplex that can accommodate only 2 people (uh… what about the third person? And about the special room we booked?), after asking them to find a solution they gave us a second room to cater for the third person and they told us the second room is for free because we are here for a special occasion and that they were doing us a favor ( I disagree, the second room is for free because otherwise the third person would have no bed and would sleep on the bathroom floor?). As a commercial gesture for ruining our evening and putting us in 2 different non charming rooms instead of the duplex suite, they offered us the parking spot for the car that otherwise would cost 15€. - the breakfast room is just a big hall like a cafeteria, nothing cosy or pretty, just looks sad - the spa, beware of the pictures you see on the internet are of the sauna area. The swimming pool and the jacuzzi are in an area that looks like public/ city swimming pool, the water was cold and there is nothing charming. - As we had to check out before going to the spa (check out not possible after 11), we were told we can store our luggage in the locker room of the spa and also change there. The changing room and locker room is about 10m2, of course bags do not fit in the narrow locker, there is only one shower, no shower gel and the best of all: the door of the shower is see through, so you have to shower with your swimwear on because otherwise you would show your body to perfect strangers
