I spent a great deal of time at The Hotel Platinia during a business trip and it was fantastic! The rooms are spacious, modern and extremely clean. The hotel staff could not be nicer, they will make sure your stay is very comfortable. The housekeeping services are unparalleled. I had an unusual over night work schedule and they were able to service my room at odd hours. The breakfast is great, and the waitresses were beyond friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The position is amazing, with the Central Park nearby it's a nice walk to get to the city center. The accommodation is excellent as well, the staff is friendly, and ready to help. There were very few issues, and they were quickly solved by the staff. Also, there was a nice view of the Cluj Stadium which is in itself quite a treat.

I have nothing but good things to say about our stay here. The guy who checked us in was so warm friendly, welcoming and professional - making sure that we were happy with everything to the point that he called us in the room to ensure that we had a complimentary breakfast. We were also given the most incredible upgrade to a suite which was beyond our expectations. We always appreciate the cookies at doubletree, too :) We were just sorry that our flight got in so late - we could have spent so much longer in here if we hadn't been moving on the next day There is limited parking, but as Hilton members, the charge was waived - even though we went out for coffee and a wander in Cluj after we checked out. All of the desk staff were amazing and a credit to the Hilton brand. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Thank you for our short but lovely stay. I hope that the management of this hotel truly appreciate their staff. I think that this may be the best experience I've had with Doubletree Hilton after many years of using them

The hotel rooms are spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The staff is professional, ready to help, and always smiling. I have stayed here 3-4 times already and will book again.

My favorite hotel to stay in while I am in Cluj-Napoca. I think the location is a bit far from the center, but the services and stay compensate for it. It was difficult finding parking in the lot. Very crowded area. They have an underground garage that is accessible only by climbing all the way up to the hotel and asking the hotel clerk to open the garage door for you (using their small hand-held remote). This works if you are traveling with another adult who can do that, but if you are traveling alone, where would you park your car to go up to the reception desk to ask them for the remote to the garage? It's a Catch-22 situation. Breakfast was in a VERY crowded room with tiny rickety tables & chairs. Our bedroom smelled musty.

Location: you could not wish a better spot for being in midst of Cluj....vibrant and live. No car traffic in the area. Plenty of nice pubs and restaurants. If you have a car then better look for a parking at the Central Building.. Rooms: seem is a new owner in town...the rooms are well designed and the space is comfortable. It is a yes from all points of view. Staff: well trained. Helpful. Nice.
