Loads of parking and a lovely welcome when I arrived at the hotel. Nice atmos in the bar and at breakfast and very friendly staff. I would stay again

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. My husband and I always stay at The Sweeney. Nothing is too much trouble, the food, ambiance and service is 5 stars as well as the rooms being quintessentially British. As always yet another fabulous weekend at The Sweeney. A huge thank you to Sean, Alex, Christian, Margot and all the staff.

Booked last minute and was very happy with my choice. The staff are welcoming and helpful, the room was lovely and I needed for nothing. Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel in lovely setting. Staff very friendly. Breakfast and evening meal were very good..as was the beer and wine. delicious homemade biscuits on arrival in room.
If we were to be very picky the bathroom was a little tired ( although towels were lovely) considering our bedroom was so nice. We also found it a little difficult to get through on the telephone but appreciate this was a Saturday afternoon and so it may have been busy. We would recommend a stay.
