I adored this hotel! I will definitely return to stay here anytime I’m visiting Burlington. Everyone who worked there were a pleasure to be around, the junction and tavern restaurants were excellent, and the hotel itself was so cozy and inviting. Could not recommend this place more!

When ever anyone asked us where we stayed and i tell them, they say oh that fancy place. I saw nothing fancy. It was nice. A regular room with a bed , tv, normal bathroom. The price was good, $126.....until,we checked out. T hey charges us another $33 for tax for the amenities they have on the property. Well, i didnt use them. Inwas at the hotel for a total of 14 hours. Which 8 were spent sleeping. I wont be staying here again.

If you are staying in the Burlington area, you MUST stay here. The property is gorgeous, the dining options are fantastic, and the staff was all super helpful and polite. Will definitely be back.

I attempted to reach out the the property a few times about the amount of ants in my room. I do have videos of them as there were that many, a return to my emails would have been nice. I did enjoy my stay despite the ants but will probably not return.

Love the garden tub in room, was clean but it desperately need updating and fix outlits and repair walls with missing sheetrock.

It is always a nice stay at the Essex. Rooms are quiet and clean. Its a bummer to have to make a reservation at the tavern because they get so busy. But a great place to stay.

Check in was easy. The Junction was a fantastic dinner. Bravo to the chef. Our waitress was so knowledgeable. She explained the menu and how everything was made etc. Spoke to the chef afterwards and she was gracious. We will definitely return.

Great place to stay, love the amenities, the friendliness of the staff and location. some of the rooms are a bit more dated than others...have stayed a few times and am always happy with my experience.

We stayed here on our final night in Vermont before flying out of the airport that is located close by. Clean cozy rooms with lovely lighting on dimmers. The check-in receptionist was lovely and she also accommodated our rooming request. We ate at Tavern and had a delicious dinner! Highly recommend!
