Hotel d'Alleves

The hotel is in a central location which is only a few minutes walk from the railway station and the old town where the cathedral and all the big luxury brands can be found. There are a lot of restaurants in its vicinity. The hotel is a bit old but very clean and comfortable. The room is spacious and sound proofing is excellent. The staff are extremely polite, welcoming, and accomodating. It's worth mentioning that the hotel's check in time is 1500 but we were given a room when we arrived at 1210. The gentleman and lady at the reception counter even gave us a city map and took several minutes telling us where to go. The two reception girls in the afternoon also showed us their welcoming smiles every time they saw us. When we called to request to have a kettle the hotel gave us not just a kettle but a whole lot of instant coffee and tea bags. Wow what a surprise to receive such excellent service in a small 4 star hotel! I highly recommend it to all travellers who want to receive exceptional service.

Very nice hotel in excellent location. Safe and clean with helpful, multilingual staff! Only regrets is no ice macjine, but staff always willing to send some to our room. parking across the street at reasonable rates

This unknown jewel of a hotel is in the best tradition of Swiss Family owned hotels where the customers are made to feel true guests. All the facilities in the very spacious rooms were first rate and even luxurious (bathrobes, bed sheets etc. ) and all the amenities provided better than hotels double the rates!!!! The breakfast was very rich and superb quality and surprisingly aesthetically presented and prepared. The father of the Family personally welcomed the guests and catered to all their requests!!!! The service of all the staff is excellent and under the ever presence of the owner/ manager giving his personal care and attention. Nowadays it is rare to experience such true hospitality in a city hotel.

Parking was extremely difficult. I realize most people probably don’t have a car, but we did. The staff had to ride with us to put our car in the garage. Check-in was extremely slow. Then as we headed out sight seeing the staff asked us to leave our key to the room with them at the front desk. Weird!

This hotel is a hidden gem in Geneva when you look at value for money. It is a small botique hotel with lots of character and charm. The room was of a good size, modern but with beams and period ambiance. The bathroom was brand new, the bed comfortable and it met all our needs. It is close to transportation, nearby coffee shops and restaurants.

Fabulous boutique hotel. The staff and owner treated guests with respect and did everything to ensure satisfaction. It was an absolute delight to stay there for our 3 nights in Geneva.

The rooms are gorgeous, very well done, spacious, clean, comfortable and the bathroom was much larger than expected too. A big tick! We also really appreciated the super soft bathrobes. There’s a lovely buffet breakfast with plenty of variety for a smaller hotel plus bacon, eggs etc cooked to order. The hotel itself is beautiful, very nicely decorated and in a great location, everything is walkable and easy. There’s paid security parking across the street. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful and professional. We were in room 12 and would definitely stay again.

Friendliest staff I’ve ever met. Great location. We walked from the train station which is an easy ride from the airport. You’re also just around the corner from the water front. Wonderful breakfast available. Fresh eggs cooked on the spot. Might seem expensive but it’s worth it if you want more than a croissant. Large room. Bed was fairly comfy. AC could have been better but we were on the 4th floor.
