Basic room and bathroom. Cleanliness could be improved as the bathroom was old and dirty. Bed was just fine though the sheets looked worn out. There is nothing much in the small room. 1 bottle of water is provided. No kettle or instant tea/coffee in the room. The cupboards are old. Tv is fine. A/c gets too chill for the tiny room. The hotel corridors are old. The only good thing is the location. It’s in the centre of the city with everything at a walking distance like the Galle Face green malls restaurants and parks. There is a Keels supermarket at just 250meters from the hotel. The price I paid was $19 which is reasonable but I expected better quality. There are better hotels/hostels with fresh rooms at this price in Colombo.

Be ready not to find all the facilities described, since we didn’t even receive a bath towel! Not exactly clean, nor “finished”, so the overall impression is that of being in the middle of a renovation. The guy at the reception was nice and, seen the good location, it’s ok for spending two nights in Colombo.

The room was clean, and we had everything we needed (towels, bottles of water...). The AC and the wifi, worked perfectly. The staff is so nice. He helped us a lot, when we were at the hotel and even after. Such a good experience, we will come back for sure.

We lived in this hotel from February 2 to 4, 2022. We checked in as soon as we arrived in Colombo. ➕ Pros: convenient location of the hotel (in the old part of Colombo), there is hot water, a fan and an air conditioning system, a wide bed, but uncomfortable (empty pillows), tea, coffee, water are included, good staff, quite clean and quiet. ➖ Cons: the elevator did not work for several hours (and we were accommodated on the 5th floor!!!), old rooms (urgently in need of updating for more satisfied guests), there were cobwebs and mold in our bathroom))

Good hotel for your money! Staff will attend a meeting upon request. Good location. 7 minutes to the railway station. on a tuk-tuk. The cleanliness of the room leaves much to be desired, but the cost turns a blind eye. Guys, owners - please remove old artificial flowers from the rooms! They have already lost their beauty and look like dust collectors. It would be much better without them... second point - we didn’t use the closet, but it hadn’t been washed for a hundred years! It would be advisable to do a thorough cleaning of the cabinets once. Wi-Fi is mega slow, telegrams won’t load, we used our mobile phone. The room has a fan and air conditioning, they work well! The main plus is the location. There are two large grocery stores nearby where you can get standard coffee and local food, as well as a full-fledged cafe nearby)
