Copacabana Shores

Nice place to stay, very clean with friendly staff and great location very close to the beach and village.

This unit is over-priced. We stayed in a double unit, the two of us, which is better suited to either 2 couples or 2 adults and 2 kids which would justify the price. Upstairs is almost a carbon copy of downstairs in that both have almost full kitchens (no ovens), excellent reverse cycle air conditioning, TV's etc. Other than a very old, very off carton of milk left in the fridge the unit was exceptionally clean. Upon arriving, we were asked to pay which we had already done when booking. Beware no refunds once booked although this didn't apply in our case. Otherwise, the staff were friendly and helpful. Had to ask for toilet paper and purchase milk as only two small milk thimbles in fridge. Expected to wash up, dry and put away dishes and utensils before leaving and remove all garbage. We usually do this anyway but I thought it was quite an ask to be expected at those prices. It's post-Covid so I am wondering if lack of staff is the reason for this and perhaps this may change in the future. No buffet or restaurant on site. No room service. Don't expect any meals. No foxtel as advertised. At least we couldn't get it but they did have Netflix provided. We took our chromecast with us, thank goodness! The pool is much smaller than it looks in the pictures. Maybe 25 metres? Also, in the afternoon a lot of it is shaded. It's not heated so it's pretty chilly even in late November. The beach is gorgeous but the room we had didn't have views and the units are in the street behind the main shops so whilst very close to the beach (a mere two minutes) it isn't overlooking the beach. Also, very tight carpark if you have a larger car. I would recommend the family unit or double unit for 3 to 4 people. Otherwise stick to a single unit. I probably would not return unless with another couple because there are nicer places with more amenities that don't expect you to do the housework at the same or even better prices.

This place describes itself as a beachside accommodation. It is in a side road set behind the small arcade of shops on the copacabana front. Not beachside. Our pool view room was indeed above the small pool, however the view is basically of the back of the shops opposite. As we were only staying one night it was adequate for what we wanted. Overall the property looks a bit tired and dated. The bathroom has certainly seen better days with floor tiles having staining. There are a number of of laminated sheets of instructions in broken English listing do’s and don’ts !! Secure parking is available. Cafes and a bottle shop close by. The beach is fantastic.

While staff were lovely ...photos of the property were deceptive and the description inaccurate . There was a hair on our pillow, towels were stained, carpet floor and longue greasy and stained ( needed steam clean) , no foxtel working, pool dirty....overall tired and needs renovation ....location was good but in a laneway not on the beach....

Great helpful and very friendly lady at reception. Beautiful area the beach is a street away, great cafes bakery’s and restaurants all in walking distance. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Thank you Copacabana shores

Parking not so good out the front, manager greeted me at the pathway, I found polite. Took my payment and I got a code sweet. I booked on *********** and I get a message in the middle of the night saying I didn’t pay, i had my receipt. Management didn’t say anything when I left and didn’t harass me. Swimming pool is amazing, little beach town, spacious, cooking facilities. Definitely a must go to place for family holiday. definitely would return. Spa takes a little to fill, shower is great and a/c amazing sleep.

The property was aa we expected for a good price.. we slept well, comfortable bed and everything was clean and near

Property was pretty average compared to photos. German cocroaches in the room. Dishwasher didnt work. The lift was filthy dirty. Spa bath was good after we washed out the hair and dirt out. No views, except of the buildings. My fault, I assumed being one street away from the beach we would have ocean views. Kids enjoyed the pool and the park down the road.
