Nice place to stay. We were visiting with relatives in the area and were happy to spend the night here. The GPS wanted us to go to the wrong side of the highway, but we saw the Princess Wilderness Lodge sign and found the place fine. Nice views after short walks. We debated paying $10 to see the aurora movie, but were glad we did. The movie with the 3-wide screen was very good and we appreciated being able to enjoy the producers 30 years of capturing excellent photos.

Traveling from talkeetna to Valdez we needed a place to stay in between. We were not sure what the wilderness lodge has to offer and we were pleasantly surprised!! It seems to be in the middle of nowhere but it sits upon a beautiful lookout of the valley and mountains below. Service and staff are excellent. Food was very good and waitress was efficient. Highly recommend staying here if in the area. There is nothing around for about 10 miles so come prepared with that in mind

Some of our family stayed two nights in two rooms here. We really like staying here (2nd time). The scenery, walking paths, outdoor seating and telescope viewing are great. Our rooms were clean, plenty of towels, comfortable beds and good coffee. The shower was hot and nice. There’s a ceiling fan and windows open but it can be a little hot without air conditioning. It was quite warm while we visited so we left the windows open. We used the coin operated laundry, $1.50 each for washing and drying. Very nice seating upstairs and down for room away from hotel room. Nice gift shop on-site. We paid $20 each to watch an excellent movie in theatre room on the northern lights. We ate dinner in the smaller restaurant, good food. We also drove to the Copper Center Inn for next dinner and that was also good. This is a great place to stay if you want to spend a whole day in the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park.

The surroundings are spectacular! The rooms are starting to show their age. I've been coming here since 2007 and the location keeps me coming back. I wish they would have more staff or better trained staff.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the lodge. The beds were comfortable and everything was decorated nicely. The lodge itself was beautiful and inviting. The only issue was that it was a little cold so it wasn't as comfortable to just relax for a long period of time. The dining was really nice with good food and good service. Thank you for a nice vacation!

Lobby area was huge. My only complaint is wifi didnt work in room. Do not think i would say there again. They sell rooms to the public but i felt like i should not have been There. They cater to the people that come on the busses.

The Princess Wilderness offers comfort and even a measure of luxury on the edge of true wilderness - the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. The public spaces are large and quite nice, with spectacular mountain views. There's a nice restaurant as well as a cozy bar. Our room was quiet. Overall a lovely one-night stay.

It's a quiet and beautiful property but the check-in staff are not very friendly and professional!

The property is beautiful and if you manage to get the rooms facing backside, you get a great view. We stayed 2 nights but checked out after first night to visit McCarthy and then came back. The receptionist on first night who checked us in was unfriendly. They also refused to keep our luggage just cause we weren’t going to be guests for that period. The breakfast is outrageously expensive and definitely not worth the 22$ but given so few options, I guess you don’t have much choice.

Just a big, busy hotel. The setting was lovely. Didn’t enjoy our meal in the bar, nothing outstanding, just another customer

We were extremely disappointed with the staff at the Copper River Princess Lodge. We love Princess cruises so we booked a room at the Lodge. Example: We went to the Two Rivers Restaurant and we were told that the pasta was not available because the chef burned the pasta and also that we couldn't have the prime rib as they were saving portions for later. What????

Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge maintains several local trails to the river and lookout points of WSE NP. The property is secluded away from the highway and the views are amazing.

My room is spacious & clean but has no WiFi at all. Need to come to lobby to find strong WiFi signal. Came to front desk at 2:48p but was asked to wait until at least exactly 3p to check in. Unsure the front desk only did this to me or treat everyone the same that no one is allowed to check in by exactly 3p!

Arrived about 2. Told front desk personnel were ordered to not register anyone until 3. Understand 3 is normal to get into a room but never before refused to do paperwork before that. Very disappointed that wifi is only marginally available in "public areas" and not available at all in the rooms. Front desk personnel speak sympathetically but can offer zero help, saying hundreds of identical complaints have been ignored "up the line ". In this era that is unforgivable.
