Hotel les Jumeaux Courmayeur

Last minute hotel booking for a one night stay. Check in seamless and reception staff friendly and attentive. The room is large enough to spread out in with a large wrap around balcony. Standing shower bath and usual amenities provided. Where the hotel failed was breakfast. I came in around 830am to a minimally/unreplenished buffet. The breakfast staff looked uninterested and I just ate what scraps I could get. Whether you have 100 or 1 guest we should all be treated equally under you.

Firstly I want to start by saying the lovely lady on reception was great - couldn't fault her at all, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the horrible man who appeared to be the manager. Me my partner and our 3 young children broke down on the mountain, completely expectedly of course. We had an horrendous time waiting to be rescued for hours, then left stranded in courmayeur. Most of the hotel we tried were fully booked, I did however manage to charge my phone and found this place online - rooms for 5 of us are very difficult to find, and unnecessary. As we have our own pop up small cot for our 8 month old, and my 2 year old sleeps with me. We found a room for 3 and booked, can I add this has never been a problem for us in other hotel, and on this trip alone we stayed in 10 in both Italy and France and never been charged and treated like we were here. We were told we had to pay an extra 80euros, just presumably for the small children breathing the oxygen? As breakfast wasn't included, and the room wasn't amended or changed at all after paying this money. We still only had 3 beds, and for future reference this set up would not work for a child any older than mine - she's a very small snd slim 8 year old, the 'bed' they supply in a triple room is no more than a very narrow filmy camp bed. When I questioned why were being charged so much more, he was so rude and I felt intimidated and made to feel extremely unwelcoming. I was already in tears before this and he made it worse. This wa she last upset we needed after the unexpected expense costing us thousands and thousands, the extra cost at the hotel was nearly the sufferance of us being able to feed our children that night or not. The room was really tired too tbh, and for some reason the bath water was brown. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Rooms were tired, showers were cold, tiles were falling apart in bathroom and we could hear the neighbours on the toilet. Very unpleasant would not recommend. There are much nicer hotels in the area which offer much more for the same price as this one.

Beautiful hotel little tired , but very friendly and helpful .I have stayed at the hotel on many occasions with family and the location if just fantastic.one thing this trip I’m not sure if it was because the hotel was very quiet after Christmas. It would be much better if the hot breakfast could be cooked to order instead of being left in the hot dishes. All the cakes and drinks are fine but was disappointed with the hot food so didn’t try

Facilities were in very very poor shape and the customer service was horrible, with the manager being completely unwilling to help. Do not stay here.

Easy walk to pedestrian streets, with shopping and dining. Also walk to start of TMB. Beautiful view from our room of the mountains.

Property manager charged us a large fee for a 3rd person despite us having booked a triple room. They admitted that if we had stated 3 persons at the time of booking, there would be no charge, but since we arrived with 3 and our ******* booking said 2 persons they had to charge us per "hotel policy". Completly ridiculous. Just looking for ways to gouge guests. Property run down...tub faucet broken, bathroom door wouldn't open all the way as it hit the uneven floor. Rude staff. Lots of other good hotels nearby. Find another.

Our room was a separate building from main building. It was So hot in August and there was no air conditioning or fan. We had to walk down 30 steps outside to get our luggage to our room with such extreme heat. The baggage porter could have taken us down the garage elevator to our rooms, but he didn’t. Inexperienced porter! Our room backed on to a highway so sleeping with doors open wasn’t a great experience. Courmayeur is a beautiful place to visit, however I don’t think I would return to that hotel.
