"The reception closed at 6pm and we arrived after that time. We got our keys from the box outside the reception. There is a store in the reception which also closed at 6pm. We managed to buy some food in the supermarket on our way to the resort. But the stove can be ignited. It seems that it was out of battery. A nice guy lived on the camping car gave us a box of matches and we finally managed to ignite it and cook. The cabin we chose was quite new, clean and tidy. One downside is that floor kept cracking when we walked on it. We saw pademelon outside our cabin. The resort was just next to the cradle mountain visitor centre so it saved us a plenty of travelling time forthe next day."

"This hotel is flawless! It's located incredibly close to the park entrance, so you'll see lots of small animals right by your room. The surroundings are beautiful, and each 'cottage' is a private, large individual house with a fireplace – very comfortable. The only minor downside is the lack of Wi-Fi, which could be improved upon. While breakfast isn't particularly surprising, it's more than adequate. We also tried the dining options during our stay, and the food quality was excellent. I believe this is an outstanding choice for a trip to Cradle Mountain."

"The room completely exceeded our expectations, and the reception was very friendly. Initially, I thought the hotel looked a bit old from the official pictures, but once we checked in, I found it to be excellent. I was very satisfied with the cleanliness, furnishings, and overall environment. The location is great, less than 200 meters from the Visitor Center, and it's only a 3-minute drive to Peppers for dinner. It's also a 2-minute drive to the Cradle Mountain center. In the evenings, we even saw animals outside our room, which was a very special experience. We visited in autumn, and wood was already provided in the room, so burning charcoal in the stove ourselves was a lot of fun. All in all, we were very satisfied and would definitely choose this place again when we return to Cradle Mountain-Lake St. Clair National Park."

"1) Room is decently spacious and clean. 2) the hotel restaurant's staff are also very friendly. 3) the slight drawback is that the hotel only provide 3 Gig internet data usage per device per day which is insufficient for heavy user. I would expect no capping, especially from a 4 star hotel. 4) no certified personal care cleansing products are provided, whereas other lower star hotels have these ready for their guests 5) the labelling of vegan foods at the restaurant is confusing, with vegan and vegetarian labels being mixed up"

"Fantastic stay. This is also one of the closest accommodations to the visitor centre.  Absolutely cosy vibes with the wooden interior and balcony. Space is big with lots of room to navigate, and have separate areas for to do different things.  Lounge area has games (and heating, of course) if you are locked in by the weather which I thought was a nice touch. There is also a library of DVDs for you to borrow from if you’d like (lots of kids friendly titles). You can also see cradle mountain from the lounge area. Kitchenette was also well furnished with sufficient items for us to do our cooking (you’d know that there aren’t much amenities in the area, please arrive prepared), including salt, pepper, and oil which other places may not actually didn’t provide in a kitchenette. "
