"The room isn't huge but it's very warm, and the value for money is excellent. They provide utensils, so if you don't want to eat out, you can bring your own instant food. Stargazing at night here is absolutely incredible. I highly recommend this place; other spots are just too expensive."

"This hotel is flawless! It's located incredibly close to the park entrance, so you'll see lots of small animals right by your room. The surroundings are beautiful, and each 'cottage' is a private, large individual house with a fireplace – very comfortable. The only minor downside is the lack of Wi-Fi, which could be improved upon. While breakfast isn't particularly surprising, it's more than adequate. We also tried the dining options during our stay, and the food quality was excellent. I believe this is an outstanding choice for a trip to Cradle Mountain."

"The room completely exceeded our expectations, and the reception was very friendly. Initially, I thought the hotel looked a bit old from the official pictures, but once we checked in, I found it to be excellent. I was very satisfied with the cleanliness, furnishings, and overall environment. The location is great, less than 200 meters from the Visitor Center, and it's only a 3-minute drive to Peppers for dinner. It's also a 2-minute drive to the Cradle Mountain center. In the evenings, we even saw animals outside our room, which was a very special experience. We visited in autumn, and wood was already provided in the room, so burning charcoal in the stove ourselves was a lot of fun. All in all, we were very satisfied and would definitely choose this place again when we return to Cradle Mountain-Lake St. Clair National Park."

"This hotel is the closest one to Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre, so it's always busy. The soundproofing in the rooms is poor; it gets very noisy when people walk by. The female receptionist at the front desk reminded me of the mother searching for her missing son in Jurassic Park 2. She clearly treated white guests differently from Asian guests. She was all smiles and patiently answered questions for the previous guest, even meticulously explaining hiking routes. But when it came to us, she barely smiled, was dismissive, and gave us the noisiest room. The breakfast quantity was decent, but the quality was bad. I even found a foreign object in my food."

"We didn't notice that we needed to check in before 6pm. When we arrived at the hotel after the Cradle Mountain hike, it was just over ten minutes. At first, we thought we had found the wrong entrance to the reception (it was a regular hotel, not a B&B, so we didn't expect that we couldn't check in so early. The sun didn't set until 8pm). There were two staff members sitting at the reception counter (glass door, visible from the outside), and no matter how we knocked or gestured, they just shook their hands. There was a small iron box on the door that needed to be opened with the password given in the email, and there was a key inside. But there were several big words in my email: Unable to display the content of the email! There was no way, we called the hotel, but they didn't answer and transferred the call to voice, so we had to leave a message. Just when we were about to contact Ctrip, the people inside finally came out, opened the iron box, and gave us the key. How arrogant!!!"
