Throw open the window, and Dali's breeze rushes in. The gnarled old branches fragment the blue sky, while red cars, bustling markets, and leisurely pedestrians all form a tender letter from the ancient city to me. Turns out, the best kind of travel is spent on a second-floor windowsill, letting life unfold like a slow song. I could sit by the window at this Dali Old Town spot all afternoon! From the second floor, the century-old tree perfectly frames the vibrant street life. Vintage red cars, artistic markets, and passing travelers – every snap creates that quintessential 'In Dali' vibe. ✨ Sip a hand-poured coffee, watch the clouds dance on the old tree; this is the proper way to experience Dali. Inside, it's life; outside, it's Dali. The autumn of the ancient city is hidden between the shadows of the trees and the bustling market stalls. Open the window, and you embrace Dali's romance.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities one could ask for. The owner was incredibly accommodating and friendly, making our stay very pleasant. The inn itself is peaceful, yet conveniently located with easy access to transportation. It was a breeze to get to Erhai Lake during the day or explore the bars at night, as both were very close by.

I really enjoyed my stay and the room. Bed was super comfortable and room was very modern and well thought out. The location was great for me, just a little side street on the edge of the old town. One downside it was super noisy, street noise and inside the stay noise…. After 10pm it got much quieter.

Booked the family room at courtyard level as I had elderly and wanted an accommodation which is easy to access. I also did not want to be hoisting luggages up and down and over cobbled streets in the old town and somewhere along the city wall so it is easy to start our tour of the sights around Dali in the morning. Room: Simple efficient clean layout with open concept. Rooms are relatively new. Sink area is located outside the bathroom which is good. The beds are hard in my opinion but elder felt the bed was comfortable. Bottled water was provided everyday (left outside our door). Room Temperature control was ok and the hot water for the shower heated up quick and could maintain at a stable level which is a plus unlike some other hotels in Yunnan. There is flight of 3-4 steps to room which is manageable for our elder as the room is slightly raised above the courtyard. We had an early check-in as the room was ready. The staff helped us move the luggages to our room. You could also book the entire courtyard for larger groups. The owner is building additional new rooms in the annex but the construction happens during the day and it is not noisy as most guests would be out. Location: It is near the South Gate (there is a local market nearby check the maps or ask the owner) and our local driver could stop right outside our accommodation. We didn’t get breakfast from the bnb as there were food shops offering noodles, congee and fried dumplings around that open early at 7am. You can also make your way to the local market near the gate. You could also go up the South Gate for free to catch the sunrise or sunset view. Touring around Dali If you can comms in Chinese, you could message the owner ahead to assist to arrange for a car transfer from Dali Fengyi Airport or the Dali Railway station to the BnB. It cost RMB50 for us from the Railway station to the BnB. You could also arrange with him for a day driver to take you around the sight seeing places around Dali /Erhai Lake, Mt Cang or a driver to send you to Lijiang. We felt was more efficient and relaxing with an elder. It took ~3h drive instead of travelling south to the Dali train station to ride the train to Lijiang and finding a cab from Lijiang railway to the old Lijiang ancient city. You could also easily catch a Didi or a cab which could be cheaper. A cab/car ride to the 3 Chong Sen Temple pagodas was about 10rmb for 3-4pax which is comparable to waiting for Bus 4 which cost 3rmb per pax.

First, the correct name of the hotel is Xiting not Yuting. There was a bit of misunderstanding over which room we booked, which I take to be the result of language communication between Trip.com and the hotel. But the manager was very sweet and Accommodating. The rooms are lovely and it’s in a good location in the old city but relatively quiet.

The hotel has a great location; you can easily walk around and explore in all directions. There are plenty of places to eat, play, and shop nearby, and you won't be woken up by the noise from the streets. The owner is very nice, and there are some small activities in the evenings.

The room is very spacious with a small balcony, and the price is great value for money! The central air conditioning is very powerful, and it is also very close to the Dali Ancient Town. It is not noisy even if you walk a few hundred meters. The landlords are very nice and will help solve any problems. It is very comfortable to live here. We originally planned to rent an electric car to go out, and asked the sister, and she directly gave us her own electric car for free. Thank you very much. When you go out, sometimes a small problem may affect your mood for travel, but if you meet a good landlord, it will greatly add points! I went to visit the Dali Ancient Town, Longkan Wharf, and March Street, and took a lot of beautiful photos. It was worth the trip! If you choose to live in Haixi, you can really choose her house. Please enjoy the beautiful photos below, and finally attach a reference map of the attractions. I hope everyone will not step on thunder.

The room is big, the bed is big too, the boss is very Buddhist and the boss lady is very beautiful, the layout of the B&B is very good, the interior of the B&B and the small courtyard outside the room are also very photogenic, the B&B is inside the Dali Ancient Town, those people asking about accommodation at the south gate of the ancient town are really annoying, it is better to live directly in the ancient town and this B&B is very quiet when you turn right in, the price is also very affordable, it is really a pleasant surprise, but there are not many comments and I forgot to take pictures of the room, anyway, I highly recommend staying here!

The inn is located on Cangping Street, the south gate of the ancient city, about a 4-minute walk from the bustling main street of the ancient city, and is separated by a wall from the Dali Sheet Factory Art District. There are various petty cafes and bookstores in the art area, which is also a gathering place for Dali literary youth and artists.
Here, whether it is day or night, the alley is quiet and peaceful, and the big trees stand tall at the door, just like an old man telling the story of the ancient city of Dali. The water in the small yard is flowing and the flowers are competing to open. For your comfortable rest and sleep, I personally selected high-quality bedding and environmentally friendly furniture. It's just for you to sleep peacefully every night in Dali.
In the inn, you can sleep until you wake up naturally in the morning and enjoy a healthy and delicious breakfast. You can sit by the floor-to-ceiling window and think about life in the sun. Or watch an old movie with friends in the audio-visual studio, or sit around the warm fireplace and talk about the beautiful time of Dali. Or drink a glass of red wine with your partner and talk about love stories. Of course, you can also make Dali's three tea by yourself, or make a cup of coffee or fresh juice at the water bar, sit in the garden, read books and chat. You will find that this is the life in Dali. What I can give you may be the good time in Dali.
