The room was very basic and didn't even have complimentary bottled water. You had to pay an extra 10 pesos to get water from the dispenser on the first floor. The location is downtown. I wouldn't really recommend this place, even though it's quite cheap. I'd suggest looking at other options.

The room was quite dark, and cleaning service was only provided upon request (which wasn't clearly communicated). The staff spoke English, but it often took repeating questions multiple times to be understood. In the bathroom, the hot water was excessively hot, forcing cold showers. Toiletries were absent (perhaps I should have asked?), and there were several ants. The A/C was quite noisy. The TV only offered 3 local channels with poor reception.

Realtalk lng po,amenities are so bad and services is not good.Linens and towels are dirty and smells so bad.Honestly,we did not use it...we buy pillowcase,towel,sleepers and blanket outside to move around and sleep comfortably.

They dont have electric iron for clothes when visitors needed one to fix their clothes. I also noticed the floor is not clean enough, while trash bin doesn’t have a liner in it, and internet is not working at the time when they advertised here there is internet. The CR door ventilation portion was already dismantled when I came in, i guess they never fixed it. Overall, I still had a good night sleep because aircon is working. I guess its the important thing.

My daughter and I arrived at the hotel around 10 in the evening. We went straight to the hotel from Davao Airport. Good thing it was late in the evening as we were able to escape the heavy traffic in the city area. The hotel attendant was nice and was able to assist us with our room. He was kind of having a hard time finding our booking, good thing he was able to sort everything out. We got a room on the 3rd floor, we got two beds, and didn't check if the TV was working though. The water pressure in the shower is okay. We have towels and toiletries provided. Air-conditioning is working fine. Just a bit of cleaning needed under the bed. We had a good sleep and went to check out before noon the next day as we needed to catch the bus going to Gen San. Thanks GV Hotel for a safe and sound stay in Davao

Old hotel in good location. Room and bathroom are relatively small. Price is quite reasonable though.
