Initial thought is the resort is beautiful. Staff is friendly, helpful and quick to respond. The room was beautiful, modern and spacious. Waterpark itself is okay for me, I've been to better. The spa is really small but I wanted my husband to experience his 1st spa, so for him it was the best and didnt want to leave. The massage therapist was immaculate. Food and drinks were okay. Tried to kayak but motor was down on their boat so couldn't do any of the lake activities per staff just incase someone gets lost they wont be able to come get you. Con of the trip was not knowing when you get there you'll pay additional parking and resort fee plus deposit. No lake activities except fishing at the pier. Overall it was a good 1st time experience there.

Hidden charges for everything not listed online. If they give you a room before the scheduled checkin time… 35 bucks.. resort fee 50… extra regulatory fees on top of the ones you paid at booking 33 bucks… the list goes on and on…

We have stayed at The Grove a couple times prior. This time around we noticed the resort is not keeping up with the property as they did in the past. We had a broken dishwasher that maintenance simply said could not be fixed. We paid out of pocket for more dish soap to hand wash our dishes because we were not able to use the dishwasher and dishwasher pods provided. We always love the spacious apartment style units here. Unfortunately we were put in a room that was for the hearing impaired. There was a doorbell-like button outside of our room. When the button is pressed it would set off an ear piercing alarm that almost sounded like a fire alarm. This button of course caught the attention of a couple groups of children as they would pass through the hall. There were multiple nights my husband and I, and our young children would be woken up by this sound. As loud and sudden as it would be it would be startling to all of us in the unit.

Check out time it’s at 10am and when you trying to get a late check out even for an extra fee they refuse me two times by phone with a really bad attitude then I decide to come to front desk and only one Spanish girl was able to help me …. The rest of the staff has really bad attitude!!!

Hands down, the nicest room I've ever stayed in. Spacious, clean, and with everything I needed. Most importantly, my 8 year old daughter loved it and had a great time. I will definitely stay there again for sure!

Loved the pool and the room. Plenty of beach chairs, water was warm, and the room was clean and spacious. The marketplace food was good but expensive. Covered parking was a plus!!

It was avg. the check in was inhospitable and inflexible. There are too many rules on how you need to put your towels, take out your garbage, etc. for all the fees they charge you. The pool is only open til 7pm not 10pm. Just a number of things which are NOT worth it. Spend your money elsewhere.

Srayed 1 night with family, room was clean water park was awesome for the kiddies. Food was okay overall 8/10
