Do not stay here. They will rip you off and you will have a bad stay. The hotel is on a side street. No cabs or Ubers will go there. You will have to drag your luggage a few blocks to get any transportation help. They offered us a bbq. It was comical how bad it was. They told us it would be exclusive to our group, but then they let other guests join us. They then overcharged us for the evening. We paid up front, as they told us if we did, we could lock in a better rate. We overpaid. By our accounting, they owed us about $700 USD. They did some creative accounting and told us they owed us about $500 USD, and then they never paid us. We have resorted to contacting a lawyer and are in the process of suing them to reclaim our money. We had to go to a lawyer as they do not reply to our repeated emails asking them to talk to us. AVOID THIS PLACE

Do not stay here. They owe us hundreds of USD. We had booked months in advanced for a larger group before paying they confirmed that if we needed to scale down our reservation we could easily receive a refund. Two months before travel we downsized. They recommended we keep a tab open in case we had additional charges. When we checked out, they had over charged us for rooms, they had inflated room service, refusing to share receipts until pressed and then the receipts did not account for additional costs. While on our stay they through us a horrible BBQ on the roof over an hour and half late, the ***ager invited his friends to the event we paid for, hardly enough food for us. All in all rude customer service. Stay away, india has ***y beautiful options; with real hospitality. Also you can NOT get a cab here. Still waiting to be reimbursed….

Do not stay here!! We overpaid for our stay, as we originally thought we were a larger group. They asked us to pay up front, to lock in a good rate, and so we did. They confirmed it would be very easy to refund whatever we didn't use. We ended up with a credit of $700. When we checked out, first, they made some serious errors in accounting, and told us our credit was USD $200. We of course pointed this out to them, and they eventually agreed to give us back USD $500. As we were already fed up with them, we said ok. They told us we would get the money within 2 weeks of checking out. It has now been a good 6 weeks and we have yet to see any money, and probably won't. Besides that, no taxis will go to the hotel; they will drop you off a good 10 minutes away and you will have to walk there.

Difficult to know how to review this place. I stayed in a capsule for two nights. It’s not for the faint-hearted - small space (obviously) with a locker (you need your own padlock) single bed, shelf, light and fan and that’s about it and just a curtain separating you from the others. It’s not the hotel’s fault, but it was incredibly noisy and stuffy, not to mention loads of noise from hu***s cars and dogs outside. First night came with very little sleep. I’d got used to it by second night but my next door neighbour went to sleep with his light on and phones kept going off etc despite the hotel’s polite notices to shut up and go to sleep at 10pm. Shared bathroom was just about ok, but no hot water on day 2. All in all, you’re at the mercy of the other residents - either they get that this is a shared space that needs considerate behaviour or … they don’t. Not sure how comfortable I would have felt being a wo*** in a mixed gender space like this either. On the plus side, I found the busy staff very friendly and diligent, and the breakfast at a local cafe a few steps down the road was lovely. There’s also a nice roof terrace and kitchen up there. Is it well-priced? There are posher rooms upstairs for up to £100 a night or so, so the £15 I paid per night for the capsule feels about right. This is Hauz Khas Village, after all, where everything’s expensive. An interesting experience … but not one for the faint hearted. I wonder what they’re like in Japan.

The staff here is friendly and I'd like to give them a good review, but unfortunately I can't. The rooms are ok but don't look anything like the pictures, and are not worth the price. The hotel itself is hard to get to - cabs can't go all the way to the front door, so be aware you'll need to walk for a couple of minutes if you have large suitcases. Also, the neighborhood is very loud. Lots of barking dogs and noisy guests, and on one night they had a party on the top floor that made the whole hotel sound like a club. Also, DO NOT pay for their airport pick-up service. We did this and received an email saying they would follow up with information about the driver and the car, but they never did. We ultimately couldn't connect with driver and had to find a different cab that ended up charging us 2x as much. Like I said, the staff at the Minimalist is nice - they're the only reason this review isn't one star. That said, I would recommend staying basically anywhere else.

We paid £120 for a 2 night stay in a twin room. Ended up leaving 3 hours after arriving to go to another cheaper and better hotel. The room looked as advertised but the bedding was wet/damp, even after asking them to change it. Neighborhood dogs were barking loudly and it was late, impossible to sleep on the 1st floor. Shower was sharing water pressure with other rooms so you could not shower if other rooms were using the shower. Ended up leaving to go to a hotel called The Prime near New Delhi station. Was nearly half the price for better much better quality there.

Recommend not to stay here. - Overpriced for Delhi - General concept of the place is nice and I am sure it looked great when it started out but the hotel is not maintained well. Rust everywhere and dirty bathroom - Bed is so uncomfortable gave me back and body ache - Worst thing ever was the day we checked in, the electricity went for more than an hour. There was no backup and the water supply was gone in the middle of a shower

WHERE DO I START- if you are thinking of staying here please 💥READ 💥 This was a 5night stay in a Studio Apartment Receptionist - Vaishali was great, happy and she was helpful. Also the young *** that was filling up my water bottles daily was so gentle, kind and always smiling 👌… Ok - let’s get down to it shall we - Advertised photos are way out of date… This establishment is very Minimal as the name suggests and l know one thing and that is you will get MINIMAL SLEEP. THIS PLACE BY FAR HAS BEEN THE MOST INTERUPTIVE, LOUD and unpleasant sleeping experience anywhere I’ve been in the WORLD to date. You get MAXIMUM points for that MINIMALIST and you have the most expensive nightly rate? The rate per day does not come close to what you get for your money. 1st Day Entry door to room doesn’t open properly as it scrapes ***** floor, which is interrupting for other guests specially the ones below. No in room information on surrounding areas, cafes, restaurants, bars, transport or even HAUZ KHAS LAKE & FORT which is right there and l believe this is why they charge so much for their rooms and they can’t even put alittle information or brochure highlighting this amazing history🙃 Photos advertised on website & booking apps are old and out of date Mould on bathroom ceiling everywhere Grime on shower floor Sewage smell coming from drainage pipes Balcony door doesn’t lock easily Aircon filters filthy dirty Bathroom fans filled with dust & disgusting Noisy bathroom fans Wall shelf under mirror pulling away from wall Tables and chairs all uneven on tiled floor so very noisy specially on next floor above. 1 little shampoo and body wash and no extra was given throughout my stay=Minimal Tiny fridge Don’t expect to much from the breakfast that’s included as it’s very basic and on my first morning there was no milk, no coffee ready to go just empty jugs of nothing. I had to get them to make a fresh brew. Their coffee on the menu that you buy is expensive and ordinary. The young men operating this breakfast and let me explain it maybe hard to know who is on duty and who works there as there can be 6 of them all at once, tho not much going on. On the 2nd morning the fridge compressor beside the coffee counter was rattling the whole time🙈 in the cafe, so it was hard to concentrate and get valuable work done. The afternoon of my 1st day l returned and l just so happened to see a trades***. That trades*** had come to fix door tho they didn’t ask me if it was convenient to fix the door at the time instead told me. I just wonder what would have happened if l didn’t arrive. I was getting dental surgery done daily so someone coming to your room using a chisel and banging tools away after the dentist wasn’t ideal. Would they have just let themselves in??? The worker fixed the door while the staff member just casually strolled around the entire apartment. I had camera gear and documents in different areas so this was alittle out of place and far from professional on h

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. Firstly, the check-in process was a nightmare as they kept me waiting for hours. The host was completely unresponsive and seemed to not care about my concerns. To top it off, I was horrified to find a cockroach in my room. This place clearly lacks basic cleanliness and customer service. I would never recommend anyone to stay here.
