We booked the room a few days in advance and when we arrived at the hotel at 3 p.m. we couldn't use the automatic check-in because we hadn't received a reservation number (or email) from the hotel. Contrary to what was stated on the ******* website, the reception was also closed at that time, so we had to call the emergency number, but this only gave us an automatic message so we had to leave a message on the answering machine. A few minutes later a grumpy employee came and at first didn't want to believe that we hadn't received an email (we couldn't find one in our spam folder either!), then blamed ******* (we usually receive messages from hotels via ******* without any problems!) and then gave us the reservation number. The automatic check-in itself requires you to provide a lot of information and takes some time, so I definitely prefer checking in at the reception. Otherwise the hotel was OK, and given the low price and central location, it was good value for money. There is a public car park right in front of the hotel.

Modern and clean hotel on the edge of the pedestrian zone, simple standard but cheap. Very friendly service. The theater and Bauhaus Museum are within walking distance. Restaurant on the ground floor. Other restaurants within walking distance. Parking lots available.
