Stayed at the Hotel Metropol for the long-weekend, and would go back in a heartbeat. Two things stood out for me: the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the place, and the stunning views of the bay. The staff were very friendly with us. My partner said that 'they make you feel at home with a smile', and that's true. Our double room was spacious and clean. Personally, I quite liked the balcony for the privacy it offered, along with an amazing view of the sea. For those like me who live in the city, it was so nice to be greeted by the sun and sea each morning. Location is great too. It’s just up the hills offering great views, yet only a 3 min walk from the beach with its many bars and restaurants, and maybe another 5 min walk from the town centre. You can easily drive into town too, if you want. There’s a large swimming pool tucked away for a swim and sunbathing, which I thought was great to get some quiet time. Overall, I found it very easy to relax and enjoy my time off at a place like this. A really good find for a getaway holiday. Would highly recommend.

Sometimes I wonder if it's my fault when the dining room is crowded, the food tastes bad, and it's served like there's no time. However, I believe that this 4-star hotel "Metropol" is completely overrated in the booking and rating platforms. The only nice thing is the sea view from the room. However, there was nowhere a description of the noise of the passing vehicles. For me never again!

The view amazing, the bartender amazing. The receptionist super bad and the it is NOT kids friendly. Retire people come, old people who don’t expect to have any children around. Old people with a level of tolerance to kids ZERO! I wouldn’t come back with my kids. Perhaps when I am old and about die

Rooms are modern and spacious enough. A bar, restaurant and Switzerland making pool means you don’t need to walk to the beach front every day. Restaurant serves great local experiences in decent portions. Great view over the Mediterranean. Air conditioning may not meet the summer heat.

Sehr schönes, sauberes Hotel mit sehr gutem Essen und super freundlichem Personal. Tolle Lage mit Pool am Berg mit sehr schönem Ausblick. Zum Strand und ins Städtchen führt ein Fußweg durch eine schöne Gartenanlage. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Abbiamo passato un bellissimo weekend a Diano Marina in questo hotel, dove abbiamo ricevuto una buona accoglienza da parte dei proprietari, anche molto disponibili a darci ragguagli. La camera era ampia e disponeva di una terrazza con magnifica vista sul paese e sul mare…. Il parcheggio molto comodo…. La qualità e varietà della cena e della colazione sicuramente erano buone. La piscina molto bella e la spiaggia a mare anche (lontana dall’albergo, ma è chiaramente scritto nel sito, quindi ok). Come pecca principale devo segnalare l’insonorizzazione delle camere assai carente…. al primo piano del blocco dove eravamo noi (camere 400…) dalle 6.40 è impossibile dormire per i rumori che salgono dalla sala colazione e se il vicino di camera canta fino a tarda sera, come è capitato a noi, ti tocca ascoltarlo se non vuoi fare discussioni.

Hôtel très agréable et surtout très propre, personnels très gentils. Petit bémol concernant le lit avec un matelas extrêmement ferme. Nous avons malheureusement très mal dormi à cause de cela et le dos complètement en vrac. Après cela dépend de chaque personne et nous en sommes bien conscient. Mais cela nous a déçus et je pense que malheureusement rien que pour cela nous n’y retournerions pas malgré que toutes les autres infrastructures étaient top. C’est vrai que il y’a une route assez fréquenter en dessous mais nous n’avons pas été incommoder par le bruit. Le repas du soir est correct mais rien d’extraordinaire… le petit déjeuner est bien uniquement les jus d’orange beaucoup trop sucré. La plage de l’hôtel est super et c’est réellement un plus non négligeable nous en avons bien profité.
