After almost 3 years without going to Cuba I decided to visit Havana for a few days before going to visit my family on the East of the island, well all I have to say is that I will never stay in another place in Havana , the energy and vive of the home and hosts are unmatched, I highly recommend anyone to stay there , quiet place and yet not far from old Havana and malecón. You will totally feel at home here :)

Aptofive is an excellent option for people who want to visit Havana, Cuba. I stayed last week. The hosts are very kind, helpful all the time, they give several tips to the guests related with the change of money, where to go, places to be visited etc. The hostel is located in Nuevo Vedado, one of the most beautiful places in Havana, Cuba. The neighbourhood is quiet, nice, with a lot of amenities around: there are cafeterias, restaurants, shops, and if you want to visit the Center or Old Havana, you can take a taxi or a bus ( near the Hostel) and got there in less than 15 minutes. There' s a place I truly recommend if you book in this place and it's Fábrica de Arte Cubano: a cultural institution in which all the arts converge, the experiencie was fantastic!, Also the Metropolitan Park with different amenities, mainly for families with children. I enjoyed very much visiting Cuba, people are friendly and nice.

They really help you with the things you need to know when coming to Cuba as a tourist, changing money, etc. Very nice people, nice pleasant neighbourhood, not far from old havana. Very close to Fabrica artes havana. I loved this neighbourhood and casa, was probably my favourite part of the trip to Cuba

I had an amazing stay at Hostal Aptofive. Patricia was so helpful sending me a message after I booked to welcome me. I was very fortunate to visit Viñales as well, something that would not have been possible without the help of Patricia and Estrella. I’ll certainly be returning again when I visit Cuba again in the future!

We have an apartment, on first floor, surrounded by a wide garden and it is located in the center of High Vedado.
The apartment has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a shared living room, a kitchen, a dining room, a terrace, a Carpoche and a backyard.
There is an área with two bedrooms, next one to the other but with total privacy because there is a door dividing this área from the resto f the house. They are ideal for couples with children or for friends who want to stay in the same space, these rooms share a big bathroom. One of the two bedrooms has a double bed and there is a fridge for sharing, the other one has two independent, personal beds. Both bedrooms have fan and airconditioner.
Regarding the third room, it has a double bed and a private bathroom. You can find a TV set, a fan, an airconditioner and a Frigo Bar The room communicates with a terrace in which you can seat and rest for a while. This small terrace communicates itself either with the Carpoche or with outside. This room is very independent, you can go and come from the street without having interference with the owners of the Hostel and other guests.

The three bedrooms are comfortable and well equiped with all the devices required for a nice stay.
The apartment is provided by the main facilities the guest needs: hot and cold water 24 hrs in the bathrooms, kitchen and backyard, 110 and 220 V energy service distributed all over the house and gas service 24 hrs. There is a TV set in the living room, and there are tv sets in two of the rooms too, a fridge in one of the rooms and another one in the kitchen. In the kitchen you can also find a gas cook with oven, a microwave, a water heater, a blender and the rest of the things of a well equiped kitchen. There is a 4kg wash machine in the backyard.
