Cocoon Hotel Belair

Cocoon Hotel Belair

📍 Buurschter Plage, 9164 Bourscheid-Moulin, Bourscheid
★★★★ 8.4 (53 reviews)

"COCOON HOTEL BEL AIR is een heel rustig hotel in een prachtige omgeving aan de Sûre Het personeel is super vriendelijk. We konden genieten van heel lekkere gevarieerde maaltijden in half-pension. Deze ervaring is zeker voor herhaling vatbaar"

Hotel Saint Fiacre

Hotel Saint Fiacre

📍 4 Groussgaass, Bourscheid
★★★ 8.6 (12 reviews)

"St Fiacre is quite simply the best place we have ever stayed during our years of touring Europe as a group of bikers. Pascal and Mrs Pascal are the most wonderful hosts of a place at the centre of some of the best roads a motorcyclist could ever dream of! Add to this the air conditioning, the truly excellent food, great hospitality and “can do” attitude of Pascal.. and you have it all. Stay here - don’t hesitate. Book now."

Cocoon Hotel la Rive

Cocoon Hotel la Rive

📍 Bourscheid-Plage, Bourscheid
★★★★ 8.2 (66 reviews)

"The location of this hotel is great, quiet in beautiful surroundings. Breakfast is fine with lots of choice, even champagne should you want it. The hotel has no air conditioning, pay attention to that when you book in the summer. Dinner is also good but pricey, with 2 people you are easily over 100 Dollars/Euro. Only point of attention I want to give: pay attention to the bill during check out, the staff wants you to put all consumptions on the room. We don't do that because we like to keep the overview. We have been there 2 times and 2 times the invoice was not correct. The first time there was a bottle of wine on our bill and the second time 2 cokes and an ice tea while we never had anything put on the room. So if you choose to do this and you stay for several days then there are probably drinks on it that you never never had, but do you remember all the drinks you had? Otherwise it is a fine hotel."

Cocoon Hotel Belair ★★★★
"We had a very nice time in the hotel. The staff is very friendly. There is a tenniscourt and a padelcourt. Unfortunately, due to the snow, we could not play. In stead we went to the wellness, which is located at the nearby Cocoon La Rive. Breakfast is great and the food in the restaurant is also good. Especially if you like to hike I would recommend this hotel!"

"A very nice hotel in a scenic place. Lots of hiking in the area and ruins of a castle to visit. One of the staff was not very professional but the rest were. Our three-course meal was nice and the breakfast buffet was plentiful. Spa area looked really nice but they’re was a strong smell in the hamam and sauna. Probably plumbing issues. Worth a visit"

Logis Gourmet & Relax Wellness Hotel de La Sure ★★★★
"This hotel is very good. I cannot understand why it has any reviews other than 5 stars! Room was huge, well equipped, full mini bar, shiny clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was continental and all good quality, but the meal in the restaurant was exceptional. If you stay here, and you should, then eat here, you must . No complaints at all, everything just perfect. I will be back ."

Hotel-Restaurant Beim Schlass ★★★
"What did I know about where we would end up when — in a slightly panicked, last-minute move — I decided to book a Valentine’s weekend getaway? Destination: Luxembourg. Honestly? The choice was driven more by excise-duty logic than by romantic inspiration. But love, as we know, takes mysterious routes. Because of my rather late burst of decisiveness, the options were… “limited.” So I did what any rational romantic would do: I checked the satisfaction score. 9.4/10. Reassuring. Comforting. The kind of number that whispers: “Be brave.” And so I booked — brace yourself — a three-star hotel. Normally, I do not venture below four stars. But this time, the heart outranked the rating system. The booking process itself was less smooth than anticipated. A small email marathon later, everything was finally arranged. Love requires effort — even administratively. Upon arrival, we discovered the hotel had been recently (re)designed. We had reserved a standard room but were — to our delight — upgraded to a loft. And what a loft it was. Spacious, with a separate sitting area, a wonderfully comfortable bed, and a bathroom that tempts one to linger far longer than strictly necessary. As we had opted for the Valentine’s package (a six-course dinner and brunch the following day), we were welcomed with an additional surprise: a chilled bottle of sparkling wine in an ice bucket and pralines. The exceptionally friendly young gentleman at reception climbed the stairs to the third floor not once, but twice, which immediately explained the missing fourth star: no lift. Yet let there be no doubt — in terms of experience, this hotel deserves that extra star without hesitation. And I have not even mentioned the kitchen. Upon arrival, I had noticed that the restaurant proudly displays a 13.5/20 rating from Gault&Millau. My curiosity intensified. How could all of this — a beautiful room, six-course dinner, and brunch for two — cost only €450? Where was the catch? When would reality intervene? Spoiler: it did not. The dining room was completely full — clearly with more guests than the hotel itself could accommodate. Once again, the welcome was warm. The maître d’, originally from Portugal, addressed us fluently in Dutch and subtly demonstrated that several other languages were also well within his reach. Every interaction was perfectly measured: warm, attentive, never intrusive. Professionalism wrapped in charm. And then came dinner. I have had the pleasure of dining in many highly regarded — even Michelin-starred — establishments. But from now on, Beim Schlass firmly earns its place on that list. I will spare you the full culinary analysis, but the confit celeriac with black truffle… That dish alone deserves an award. A standing ovation. Everything that followed was top-tier cuisine: precise, refined, and refreshingly free of unnecessary theatrics. No gimmicks. No culinary circus. Just genuine excellence. Only afterward did I learn that the owner is none other than"

Logis Hotel-Restaurant Petry ★★★
"We stayed here with a group of 34 cyclists for 3 nights. The rooms are ok, specifically ours (we were with 2 in 1 room) with a small living room attached. Rather spacious bathroom with a rather good shower. Beds are good, just the pillow a bit too soft for me. Hotel has 3 floors with a lift. Breakfast is very good with a lot of choice, even 'hagelslag' :) probably because of the Dutch owners? Due to the warm weather we were able to eat on the terrace, which was always completely full. Compliments to the staff being able to cope with such a high demand! Food we got was ok, 4 courses, consisting of standard choices; soup, appetiser, main and dessert. We could also use facilities in its sister hotel Belle Vue, 100 meters away: swimming pool and wellness, not used by me though, just a massage after 125km of hilly climbs, only the garage to park our 34 bicycles."

"Village beauty of Luxembourg. Under the blue sky and white clouds, you can see a large area of grass. The foreign environment is good. The hotel's hardware facilities are average, and the family room is just enough."
