"The location is excellent, right next to the whale shark center. The room facilities are quite old, basically just passable. The air conditioner is a window type, and it's very noisy when turned on, but thankfully the airflow was decent at night these past few days, so it wasn't too hot without it on. The central swimming pool is a disaster; one end is extremely deep, probably more than two meters. I saw many people startled by its depth that afternoon, and there were no lifeguards nearby. Those with children should be very careful about this depth; you can't see how deep it is from above. The hotel restaurant was generally decent, nothing bad, just average, mainly because it was cheap."

"Cozy family business with multiple rooms and a pool for relaxing. Located directly on the beach with a beautiful sunset. No dinner available, but plenty nearby within walking distance or by cheap tuk-tuk (10 pesos pp to Robert’s or 30 pesos pp to the city). Breakfast can easily be arranged on-site. Very hospitable. We were able to arrange a lovely in-room massage through the reception (500 pesos pp). Worth a visit!"
