Sandymount Hotel

Dublin|2.55km from Stena Line - Dublin Port
Because of the business in Ireland, I traveled to Shanghai and Dublin many times. This time I stayed with my husband for a week and made a visit to Dublin. Through the recommendation of local friends and his own strategy, this time I chose the Mount Herbert Hotel. This hotel was chosen because the hotel has a certain history but is newly renovated. The hotel is located in the upscale area of the city, safe and quiet. It can take a few minutes walk to the seaside along the famous Sandymon Promenade, or walk for a few minutes. The DART station takes you directly to the city centre by DART. (DART is Dublin's subway name and can reach many places.) The hotel is very good value for money. The room we stayed in was very spacious and comfortable. It was very relaxing. The breakfast is very rich, the parking is very convenient, the hotel staff is very warm, with a smile, ask where to eat, play very enthusiastic guidance. Ireland in April is only dark until 9:00, let us have the opportunity to walk around after dinner. The front of the hotel is very wide, with a statue of a rugby player. The famous Aviva Stadium, originally known as the Irish national football ”rugby”, is next to it. I heard that this hotel is also one of the hotels where the players stayed, and there is no shortage of celebrities. . Behind the hotel is a beautiful garden, Ireland's April is full of light green, and the summer garden must be very beautiful. I’m talking to my husband and I hope that I will choose this hotel again in the summer.

The Gibson Hotel

Dublin City Center
The sanitation is very good, the room layout is reasonable and neat, far from the city, but the downstairs is the starting point of the tram, it is very convenient to go to the airport, the 747 and 757 are separated by a small block on the south side of the hotel. 7 euros direct to the airport. It seems that green apples are available every day in the corridor. The restaurant bar is good and there is an open-air balcony outside.

Pembroke Townhouse

Parking is complimentary and on a first come first served basis. The lobby has a simple desk in the centre, with complimentary coffee, water and Pastries nearby. Staff professional and friendly with payment taken on arrival. We stayed in the loft room, which has an upstairs section to fit 3 persons. There are snack and drinks available in room (pay for on checkout) and the bathroom is bright and clean. The beds are comfortable and carpet spot-less. The room overlooks the main street, which on a match day be noisy, but not something that is loudly apparent when the window is closed. A beautiful hotel and very comfortable in a well kept area.
Roxford Lodge Hotel

We stayed at the Roxford Lodge for 3 nights in September 2022. We arrived wearily after an overnight flight, at 10:00 am. While check-in is clearly stated to begin at 3 pm, the front desk provided us with complimentary tea and croissants in the front room while they readied a room of a guest who had checked out early. Not expected at all, but so appreciated. When it turned out later that our particular room was affected by some unexpected noise, the hotel staff again graciously accommodated our request for a room change the following day, and upgraded the room type as well. While the rooms could benefit from a little updating, the overall hospitality is reason enough to book a stay here. It appears that the lodge is owned by a woman and has an all-female staff, which was nice to see. The location is excellent. It is situated in a lovely neighborhood that is within a 20-minute walk to Trinity College and City Center. In addition, we found some great places to eat breakfast and dinner within a 5-7 minute walk. Thank you for a lovely stay!
Premier Suites Dublin, Ballsbridge

Absolutely stunning accommodation in a brilliant location. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Dublin. It’s location by the RDS is very close to city centre. The area around the suites is lovely to walk around with nice cafes nearby. The suites are amazing, really spacious & well equipped. Beds were super comfortable, bathrooms were gorgeous with lots of complementary toiletries. All the staff were very friendly & helpful, particularly Laura. Would highly recommend staying here & can’t wait to visit again.
Clontarf Castle Hotel

The junior staff were amazing, senior staff were up themselves, location was great hotel was clean. The dining area was too small and for a 4 star hotel I would've expected my breakfast served, not help yourself style you would find at a travel lodge. In short over priced rooms no lesuire facilities and for 4 mojitos cost €50 I've had better value for money elsewhere. First and last time I will stay here!!!
