Hotels near Lamberto L. Macias Sports & Cultural Complex in Dumaguete

I love this hotel. i have stayed here now many many times, and i have NEVER had a bad experience, so i thought i would finally write a DESERVED GOOD review. The Hotel is placed right at the heart of Dumaguete, everything you would want is with a few mins of the hotel, the hotel also provides trips to some of the popular tourist attractions. The rooms are always clean and fresh with daily room service, but in my opinion the only thing that lets the rooms down are the showers which sadly could do with more maintenance as often they are faulty in some way and poorly kept looking, but they still provide good supply of hot water. I have stayed in all of the rooms they offer, from their suite to the standard rooms, and all show the same levels of cleanliness and the rooms always feel welcoming. Free breakfast is provided and the restaurant is good and the food well cooked and presented , the hotel provides a full range of pampering service if you require some self indulgence. The staff are ALWAYS friendly polite professional and on hand for any reason and will always make you feel important and a valued guest. I have in all my stays at this Hotel had only ever had one problem which was dealt with professionally, immediately and satisfactorily,. This hotel is ALWAYS my first choice when i visit Dumaguete, and will continue to be so They have plenty of rooms and even as a walk in, i have never been turned away from being fully booked, Its always a pleasure staying here.... This hotel exceed my expectation....above standard wow All staff will greet you with happy and heartily mabuhay!!!! Frontdesk super friendly and accommodating with all the details provided Room cleaners are very good and friendly Security are very helpfull all the times with smile and greetings... Super happy with the stay.....

Staff was very friendly and genuine. Breakfast was also really great with 3 options (continental, American and Filipino). There was also possible to adjust a bit like stronger coffee, less baked bacon or 1 egg only. Furniture and decoration is also very beautiful. I also really appreciated the cleaning staff to put of their shoes/slipper when entering the room for cleaning. If I can make a few improvements it is. Bed cover was only 1 sheet. A blanket or a more thick bed cover would be nice. More variety in fridge like cola, diet coke or sprite More punctual in coffee sachets refills and towels (if one is on the ground placed for replacement. But overall it was good value for money Staff always smiled and was friendly. Location is also great. Close to boulevard and 50’meter swimming pool is only 20’minutes walking distance. Don’t forget to give the small local restaurants a try. I really enjoyed the Dumaguete experience also because of you 🙏

expensive! Not worth the price! The sea view room will be booked for 1500rmb on the 5th of October, two months in advance! I went to see the day 1000rmb! Potholes! It doesn't matter! The key is the small bathroom in the room! Not as good as the other seven hundred and one nights I ordered! The swimming pool is also small! A burger 450p! A glass of juice 245p! Never make a bad review! I am giving you the first time! Mainly to remind everyone!

Although the hotel is not very close to the dock, the boss is a German, the environment is comfortable and clean, the staff inside is really good, the people are particularly good and special and responsive, the hotel meal tastes good. We came back from Oslob because of the next night's flight. Because there is no place for the Duma to go, after checking out, the hotel is still outside the room for an afternoon to take a bath and eat. The trip to the Philippines has lived in three hotels. It was the most satisfying one. The sister who checked in at the front desk gave a hug and felt very sad that they were really attentive. 10 points recommend that everyone to go to the Duma to live this house will not be disappointed, if you have the opportunity to go again, you will definitely live here.

We stayed here for over a week. The hotel is simple but very clean. Rooms are ample in size. WiFi is strong. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. It’s location is also great since it’s near restaurants and groceries. Great for business travelers or folks looking for a nice safe place to stay while visiting Dumaguete. Easily accessible to public transportation but also with ample parking if you have your own vehicle.

Last minute rented this place out because I needed a place to stay close to the Oslob Whale Shark Watching and it was one of the best decisions made. It was only a 3 minute car ride away. I was with my family and we rented the 8 beds (4 bunk beds) room. Room was clean, cold, and comfortable. Price came with breakfast too. Definitely worth your money.

We stayed only overnight at this unique beautiful botique hotel as we have to fly the following day to Manila . We were immediately greeted by a very special and charming lady by the name of February, very sweet and charming ! Welcome drink was really timely after 1 hour ride from Zambuanquita where we had our hotel for the Apo island diving the night before. What makes this hotel special is how friendly and accommodating the staff were, not to mention the Philippine hut style “igloo” & beautiful interior design.The role model for how to “treat” a guest is the GM & Operations Manager, Marlon Navarro. I am a Filipino expat who had lived over 40 years in Europe and just on a diving & golf safari with my buddy but I have never seen an “over the top” hospitality from a hotel manager. Marlon answered all our enquiries including where to have a nice dinner, bar to hang out, sightseeing and spa. For spa, don’t miss the hotel spa especially with Jess - one of my best massages in the Philippines. Also, as Marlon noticed that I have an Austrian guest who is a little bit inquisitive about the area, brought us even by himself to the Boulevard as my friend is quite tall for a “tuktuk” (our local Tricicle). I wish UNWND all the success in the world and without a doubt, with Marlon under it’s helm, it will be the top hotel in Dumaguete in due time. Thank you so much for this “unusual “ experience!
