Location: Very good, a tram station is just outside the hotel entrance, within 10min walk to U-bahn station. Quite area but feel safe. Many restaurants nearby.
Room: Size is ok for one person business trip. Facilities are basic but sufficient, the room looks very clean, no complaint for a room at this price point during an exhibition.
Overall the experience is good.

I stayed here during a fair in Düsseldorf. We had to pay 261 € including per night, which was far above the price for the room I got. Normal cost if no fair is around 95 €/night. there is no airconditioning. i got a room 6th floor and heat was so high that sleeping was not easy. Opening window is also not option as I got window on the street and from 6 o clock trams and busses pass every 5 minutes. There is no 24 h service, you have to take the key all the time with the risk to loose it. For this amount of money you expect some fridge on the room. Breakfast is ok, but with not too variation every day. They clean the rooms every second day, so called for saving the environment. The bed was very good, the ladies at the reception very friendly. Badroom is small but correct. so for me no gildors anymore, sorry .

Very Small hotel, you will love how it is simple with classic furniture, located on a tramway street, and basically the tram station is about 19 meters away from the door of the hotel, and the parallel street is the banks street (Bankstrasse) where comes the bus to and from the airport. very practical location. The staff is very nice and polite, very professional as well as friendly, there is a very nice super market no more than 25 meters but lots of coffee shops near by

Great hotel .... a small booking problem (my side) was resolved quickly and they were flexible with the payment method, the check in was superb and communicated throughout the process, a lovely touch was being taken to your room, the hotel is superbly located including free street parking over weekend and is only a 5 minute walk to the popular Nordstr with shops and restarants and 25 mins to the Rhein/old town (or slightly shorter if you take the Nordstr underground 1 stop to Heinrich Heine Allee. Stayed on the last day of a major trade fair and price was still very reasonable. Highly recommended by someone who has stayed in more than 20 different hotels in Dusseldorf and resident for many many years !

Visited the wire show and found this hotel with good reviews. They are very helpful and proactive with their friendly check-in. The hotel is clean and tidy and they run a tight ship, trying to be as green as they can be. I enjoyed the traditional breakfast but do not know if there was any evening meal available as I dined out with business contacts. I think the hotel is probably wheelchair friendly but you would have to confirm directly - Sandra speaks better English than me and I live here! Access to the city centre takes about 12 min. on the tram (German efficiency exemplified) and transport around the city including the airport is easy and quick - buy the 9 euro ticket and don't worry about having the right ticket as it works on all the local public transport. I expect to be returning with my better half later in the year when work permits! Thank you all at Gildors - had a great stay!

Sorpresa de Hotel. No veía ningún comentario y las fotos que tenéis no se aprecia el hotel. Muy sencillo pero muy completo. Habitación amplia, cama muy cómoda, baño con bañera muy completo. Yo me alojado en la 866 y de maravilla. La atención de los trabajadores maravillosa para cualquier cosa. Está muy bien situado para ir a la Messe ( feria) para ir al casco viejo y a 15 min del aeropuerto. Ubicación perfecta. Una auténtica sorpresa. Espero volver en la próxima feria. Nos tiene buffet de desayuno, pero a 40 metro tienes una supermercado que tiene cafetería, zumos, fruta y de todo. Tienes la línea de tranvía a 5 min y la línea de autobús 722 que te deja en la puerta de la feria por 3,5€. 100% recomendable.
