I had my wedding in Dzoraget with 100 family members and friends. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and 4 days and celebrated all weekend. It was the most beautiful occasion. The hotel manager, Armine, is amazing and helpful in planning all the details - room assignments, food menu, resources, etc. The hotel staff are always available and ready to help. One side of the hotel faces the village, offering a unique experience of that region. Everyone who attended the wedding loved Dzoraget, and my guests plan to return to Dzoraget when they visit Armenia. I highly recommend this beautiful and memorable venue for special family events. It's the place to create a lifetime of memories.

Second time here, had one night and dinner. Food was incredibly fresh and good, tried spinach salad, wild asparagus with eggs, wild mushroom salad and veal with vegetable in creamy sous. As Hotel was not full, there is an individual set up breakfast which I like more, because omlet is cooked only if you order it, but in this case you get no sweet & fruits like when it is a buffet breakfast. Crispy suboreg for breakfast and khadaef were good too. Hotel needs to put mosquito nets to let people sleep with open Windows. There are 2 dogs on the territory but they are absolutely friendly.

Would be a 2 star in the west. But was clean, room was ok, food was ok. Best I can say is it was an ok place to spend one night. We travelled through the Caucasus countries and most of the hotels we were at were very basic and comparable to a motel stay in the west. The big difference was that these places were so clean and the staff were consistently friendly, helpful and welcoming.

My husband and I decided two years ago that we would get married at Tufenkyan Avan Dzoraget without ever having been there. This summer, we finally had our dream wedding there and it was absolutely incredible. The atmosphere is so dreamy and magical. I wish we could do it all over again. The hotel is stunning inside and out, but what makes Tufenkyan truly outstanding is all the wonderful people who work there. Armine is the most professional and kind manager and I am so grateful that we got to work with her. She made sure that everything was perfect for our guests and for our wedding. The staff was also so kind and helpful. All 100 of our guests were incredibly happy with their rooms, the food, and the beautiful atmosphere. I can't say enough good things about this place. It's an absolute dream and we can't wait to come back for our anniversary!

Our stay at this hotel in was disappointing. The only positive was the great river view. However, everything else was terrible. The room was old and the bed squeaked and swayed. People were loudly laughing all night, making it impossible to sleep. The $163 we spent for one day was not worth it. They present it as a luxury hotel, but there was nothing luxurious about it. The bathroom amenities were low-quality, and some guests littered by throwing cigarette butts into nature. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The place is not easy to find when you come from the Georgian border, but the location is superb. The main house has the larger rooms, we were upgraded. The rooms are designed with local colorits and decorated with carpets. The dinner menu is fantastic, creative and suitable for vegetarians. The personnel is very helpful and friendly - you feel really welcome.

My wife and I recently got married at the Tufenkian Avan Dzoraget Hotel & Restaurant in the Lori province of Armenia. We had always seen photos of the building and surrounding, but never had a chance to visit and experience it in person. It wasn't until this past June where we decided there was no other place but the Tufenkian Avan Dzoraget Hotel and Restaurant that we'd rather celebrate the most important day of our lives. Absolutely ZERO regrets! If we were to celebrate our wedding again we will undoubtedly rebook the Tufenkian Avan Dzoraget Hotel and Restaurant. Aside from the medieval styled building perfectly embedded in her surrounding and landscape, Armine and her staff were the cherry on top of the wedding cake. We can't imagine our wedding weekend running as seamlessly and full of love as it did without them. Both my wife and I highly recommend this place and we will definitely try to be back every year to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Once we receive photos from our wedding photographers we will upload and show you a full glimpse of the fairytale weekend we celebrated with our closest friends and family at the amazing Tufenkian Avan Dzoraget Hotel and Restaurant.

We have been traveling around Georgia staying at homes, and occasionally hotels, advertised by ***********. We decided to splash out entering Armenia and booked at the Tufenkian: Dzoraget hotel. On the plus side, a river runs right beside the hotel whose grey stone and austere exterior remind me of Aberdeen’s granite city. And the service staff are friendly and helpful. On the negative side, our room is small - almost a thid of the size we have booked in family homes. All the’luxuries - slippers, shower caps, etc. Do not make up for size or expense. Besides, there is barely enough room to open two suitcases! The internet is intermittent, and there are not enough plugs for two people with four devices. Georgians love thie gardens, and it is striking that the gardens at this hotel are neglected. Our window box is dry and empty. Why have one at all? The menu is interesting, the food good, but fot a good hotel, I expect more. Think twice before you book.
