I gave this one star for location. That’s the only thing going for it. From denying to serve us a cup of coffee during check in, dirty, stained bed spreads, no a/c, windows that wouldn’t open and absolutely rude service, the list goes on. Thank goodness we only used it to shower and sleep. Visiting El Calafate is worth it. Just stay somewhere else.

The hotel is perfctly located a 1 minute walk from the bars and restaurants of the town. It is cheap and cheerful, we were happy to have stayed there. The only thing id say is breakfast leaves something to be desired but it fits the purpose. Also the proprietor knows where to get the best exchange rate, just ask.

We stayed with my husband for three nights. The inn is well located, a few meters from the center and approximately 15 blocks from the bus station. To enter the accommodation and also to get to the room you have to do it by stairs, in our case it was on the first floor. The bedroom was quite small and its decoration old. It does not have a 24-hour reception staff, but there is a telephone number in case of an emergency. The breakfast seemed complete. The attention was good.

We left the keys at the reception because with my friend we were going on different excursions, and when we returned we found the reception closed because Argentina was playing, we stayed outside the room from 4:20 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. It seemed to me an absolute lack of respect and professionalism. Hola, les cuento la experiencia, la hostería está muy bien ubicada a metros del centro, las habitaciones muy rudimentarias, poco cómodas aunque limpias, muchas de ellas se pasa frío por las noches y por la mañana, el desayuno espantoso no hay variedad, no es rico y no reponen nada, la amabilidad de la gente no existe, cero predisposición a solucionar problemas, si tienen la posibilidad no vengan a este lugar.

Solamente los absurdos precios del Calafate pueden llevar a alguien,como yo,a elegir este lugar. Para empezar los que tengan problemas de movilidad,olvidense,todo escaleras para todas partes. Lugar falto de mantenimiento,pintura,gracia.A las 7 se despertaran con las voces de los pasajeros q se van a tours.Luego las personas q limpian seguiran hablando a carcajadas y haciendo chistes,cdo se supone que hay pasajeros q quieren dormir.El trato a la mañana es realmente desagradable,persona cero simpatia y empatia. Desayuno escaso y pobre.Tuve q mendigar un poco de mermelada!!!!! No se quien dice que vale la pena. NO VAYAN!!!!!!!!

Lugar muito ruim e caro na alta estação, com móveis velhos preciando de reforma geral. Perto de uma subida de carros com barulho. Não provei o café da manhã. Very bad and expensive place in high season, with old furniture in need of general renovation. Near a hill of cars with noise. I didn't try the breakfast.

Excelente lugar para pasar nuestra estadía en Calafate. Buena ubicación, cerca de la mayoría de los lugares importantes de la ciudad. Desayuno completo, trato súper gentil,limpieza muy buena . Lo recomiendo !!!! Vine con mi madre que es una persona de 84 años .
