Jinding Villa

The hotel is close to Jinding (Golden Summit), so waking up at 5:30 AM to walk and watch the sunrise was perfect. The room's decor is quite old, but the front desk proactively upgraded us to a king-size bed. If you have back problems, be wary of the soft beds. The soundproofing is poor, so it might not be ideal for light sleepers. We also found that the disposable dental kit had already been opened, and we didn't bother to ask the front desk to replace it, which was a bit disappointing 👎.

Excellent! You can see the distant snow-capped mountains from the room. Absolutely worth the price.

How should I put this? There are only two hotels at the summit, so you don't really have a choice. The other one is Jinding Grand Hotel, and this one is actually Xinxin Villa. It's a monopoly, so you can imagine the terrible service. You can't check in early, and on the day we left, it was pouring rain, but they wouldn't let us extend our stay by even two hours to wait for the rain to stop, even though the next day's guests couldn't even make it up the mountain. They immediately said an extension would cost 100 yuan. The commercial atmosphere is very strong. Dining is quite expensive. A raincoat costs 20 yuan, and clothes are 30 yuan or something. It feels like there's always someone trying to sell you something expensive. Plus, the weather at the summit is unpredictable, and we didn't see anything. Honestly, there's no need to stay at such an expensive hotel; a day trip is more than enough. Just for your reference.

The room was spacious, well-equipped, and very clean. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a lovely mountain view, which was quite comforting. The breakfast was just okay, but considering it's at an altitude of 3079 meters, it was pretty good. Definitely recommended.

This is an older hotel at Golden Summit, and while the facilities are a bit dated, the location is fantastic, especially for catching the sunset. You can even watch the sunset right from your bed! The only downside is that the rooms are small. I recommend booking in advance, as there's a daily limit of 8,000 visitors allowed on the mountain.

Facilities: Very basic. Hygiene: Reasonably clean. Environment: Very close to Mount Jinding (Golden Summit). Service: Smiling service. I booked a family room, which was a triple! It was very convenient for watching the sunrise and sunset! I'll choose this place again next time I visit! The breakfast was very rich.

This hotel is a rip-off! The facilities are terrible; the bed is tiny, and the bathroom is so small you can barely stand in it. I have pictures to prove it! They're just fleecing customers. The environment is awful, the TV doesn't even work, and the room and bathroom are both tiny! How can they charge over 800 for this? The furniture is old and run-down, there's no desk phone, and they even have water shortages!

We were upgraded to a room with a view, located near the Golden Summit. It was incredibly convenient for catching both sunrise and sunset – definitely the right choice!
