Absolutely the best stop on our cross-country drive! We loved the clean, spacious rooms, the comfy beds pillows, the jacuzzi, the incredibly friendly staff, and the unusual layout of the hotel itself. We genuinely considered extending our trip by an extra couple of days just to spend more time here! If you're looking for a clean, quiet little spot with staff that will gladly bend over backwards to make your stay better - trust all the 5-star reviews. This place is a gem!

Yes it needs a sign out front yes they should replace the carpet with hardwood floors but the room was awesome it has so much character it looked like a set of like a Tarantino movie, and it had two sections and the price was incredible and the people are really nice

Disappointed in the room. One light didn't work. Light in bathroom was very dim. When we went to take a shower in the morning, the faucet fell out of the wall. Toilet seat was cracked. No kleenex in the holder.
The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean.
Disappointed that the restaurant wasn't opened yet even tho it says a restaurant is there.

A nice place for the money.
My only criticism is that there was no in-room coffee, and the microwave was in a cabinet about three inches above the floor.
But these are minor quibbles. Next time I'm in Emporia I'll stay here again!

This was are 2nd stay, it was great again.I would only like to let them know the bathroom outlet didn't work other wise no problem. We will continue to go there, we like the clean and friendliness.

Well, I had my reasons for staying there but when a place is half the price of everything else in the area you gotta wonder. The bed was comfortable and clean. Door didn’t close securely. You had to be your own plumber to make the shower work. How this got an 8/10 rating is beyond me.

Was initially given a room already ooccupied.
Tissue box was empty.
No toilet paper in pool area women's bathroom.
General atmosphere was uninviting.
I like to support family owned business over a chain, but will not stay here again nor recommend it.
