Hotels in Fajardo with Swimming Pools

We booked 3 nights, for almost 200$ each. Aside from the pool, the hotel offered no service. Starting with the room: outdated, no soap in the bathroom, and very loud disfunctioning AC (basically we couldn’t sleep because of the noise, it was like having a truck in the room). Then the location is really in the middle of nowhere: there is literally nothing to do in that area. With that, you’d think the hotel would have some service offering. None ! We asked for the AC to be fixed : it wasn’t fixed (we were told they are old and it’s normal they make that much noise).The restaurant in the hotel opens at 11am, and closes at 7pm, so it can basically offer lunch, which is probably the one meal you would eat outside if you were visiting the region. So the restaurant was useless. We had to pay for ice!!! We asked if the hotel had some partners for activities around, they told us they don’t know and gave us a list of phone numbers we needed to call ourselves with no information on the activities. They refused to call a taxi for us, and gave us phone numbers, again. On our last day, we asked them if we could leave our luggage and come pick them up at 2, they said they don’t do that, we had to insist for them to accept! We couldn’t believe that such a simple and common request would be rejected in a hotel nowadays. Just avoid this hotel, mirror screens and no service whatsoever.

We made the reservation for this accommodation to travel the next day to pick up the ferry of Ceiba. We were surprised to the house. All very well equipped and decorated. easy parking at the site and good air conditioning and showers. It's a pity that we have little time to take advantage of the site, and one day we will come back and host in the same place.

There are plenty of restaurants and sports rentals facilities.Palma vista location is close to everything: like the Ferry (10 minutes ride) that takes to other islands like Vieques and Culebra, 20 minutes from our Rain forest El Yunke, 10 minutes from Luquillo beach, less than 3 minutes walk to the luminescence bay, 5 minutes drive to las Crabs, there you can rent a Catamaran boat which includes drinks & food, 15 minutes from Carabali, there you go horseback riding with beautiful scenery from beach, river or mountains, also there you can rent four tracks with the same routes and sceneries, also
